Hey!  I am a supporter of the GSA.  But, instead of buying those nasty ass cookies I send them a check to commend them for being open minded.

I think they destroyed them to keep from watering down the market with free or cheap cookies.  Isn't that what egg farmers are doing?  They purposely throw away thousands of eggs each day to keep from flooding the market with their product.  Demand stays up and therefore higher prices.
