Just because Arsenal didn't score anything against Blackburn on Saturday, doesn't mean they suck. Or that they'll collapse against Bayern. But it's likely.

/Come on you Gunners!

I'm glad he didn't draw Milan and Barca, I wasn't impressed by him last week and I want to be able to enjoy that one as fate smiles upon the Curva Sud tomorrow

Glory's last chance for arsenal, so I put £20 on a win and some on the over 3.5 goals. Also if Arteta and Walcott score, I'll be 'appy

The early goal opens things up for that over 3.5 bet, gotta think positive!

I have a feeling ill regret making this statement before this game is over, but Arsenal is at least playing hard right now.

I'll take an Arteta goal and the over 3.5. I'm a realist, on occasion

56% of possession and not a single attempt on goal.

This...I-I can't even stomach this now.  The best Wenger can do is leave, for his own good.

Seriously, he should resign at the end of the match.  It's one thing when you haven't won a trophy in eight years, it's another when you don't come close to winning a trophy in eight years.  That's where Arsenal is at the moment.  Where he could've gotten someone like Sissoko or Wanyama to strengthen, he stood pat.

Wenger's got no one to blame but himself for this.  I'm as big a supporter of Wenger's philosophy as anyone; but football as in life, you need to evolve or die.  Wenger's trying not evolve but not die either.

How dare you forget the League Cup final vs Birmingham City that Koscielny, Djourou and the keeper managed to blow

That's where the whole thing went pear shaped. Since then it's been one calamity after another.

That was a side that, 11 on 11, was beating Barcelona in the Champions League, in two years this team has become this. That is shocking.

I'm a fan of Wenger's, too, but Arsenal's performances lately are on him. He's had opportunities to strengthen the squad and he hasn't.

You mean the game that no one decided to take it by the balls and run City out of Wembley?  That one?

Wenger can go on and mope and biatch and moan about how everyone's out to get him.  He doesn't help when he a) makes asinine statements ("4th place is as good as a trophy") and b) he had chances to give the team the cutting edge it needs and he doesn't because "he won't pay over what he feels he should".

He thinks the world should play like it was FIFA/PES and it doesn't.  By a large margin.

All of this. It's a team that seemingly plays for 4th in the EPL and nothing more. That's fine if you're a club looking to build into something, but that's not who Arsenal is. They're just stagnant.
