Cosmk: That kid is not his daughter.

So did they just claim that he is the one?

She has her dad's nose.

Not sure which one though, maybe his seventh.

Okay, so here's the truth:

That girl, Paris Jackson, is the daughter of the person we all knew as Michael Jackson since the mid 1980s. However, that was not the original Michael Jackson!

Michael Jackson-- the original one--  died in the well-known Pepsi incident. It wasn't just his hair that was burned. He died. At the height of his career.

Naturally, the powerful record companies couldn't have that be it. Sure, they'd sell a ton of back-catalog albums, but what then? This guy had potential to go on for years and years, and they knew what they had to do: They replaced him.

That's why his appearance changes so much after that point in time. He's a look-alike with cosmetic surgery, who kept getting touch-ups. He was white. They covered his whiteness by saying Jackson was bleaching his skin due to vitiligo.

His voice wasn't that high. If you play his music with the pitch bent down a bit, you can hear his real voice. Or you can check it out here:  http://youtu.be/GW9iZfusnQI

And of course his death was actually an assassination. They were covering their tracks.

Paris Jackson doesn't know this, of course. All she knows is that the man the world was calling Michael Jackson was her father.

Honestly, you believe that these two people are one person? REALLY?

Wasn't that a copy pasta of some post about Prince that I've seen somewhere?

johnnygew: doczoidberg: It should also be noted that The Daily Mail doesn't know the difference between a guitar and a bass.

And while one might strum a bass, she is not. So two strikes there.

Lastly, this looks amazingly like a lower end Squire. $149.99 on Musicians Friend. Can't she afford better?

Learn your chops on a $150 beater. IF you have it together you can move on up later.

traxan: I've read in a few places she was into classic rock and not at all into pop, rap or hip hop. Wouldn't that be funny. MJ's kid turns into a rocker.

You do know that MJ was more into classic rock than rap or hip hop right?  His family history is mostly rock soul and funk.  The Jackson 5 were a rock/soul band.  He owned all of the Beatles songs.  Classic rock isn't out of the ordinary for someone related to Michael.

You'd like the pic better if she was strumming a 10-string Alembic or perhaps a Sadowsky?

Absolutely. After which it should be sent to me.

No matter what else, that is a excellent point right there.

She's very pretty, and she seems to be amazingly emotionally stable, regardless of her weird upbringing.

I say good for her, and everyone should leave her the f*ck alone and let her continue to grow up.

/Yes, I know the bass is a guitar as well, but goddamnit, it's it so hard to call it a bass guitar?
//I need a nap.

I noticed it as well. Wouldn't be so flagrantly wrong if they didn't also mention that she was "strumming" the instrument, when she is clearly plucking that bass.

/Now I need to listen to some Muse, for some awesome bass work

1: Just be glad they didn't call it an assault rifle. Journalistic integrity took a shiat, if it's anything resembling the right shape or they can sell more copies by deliberately lieing, they'll do it.

2: I haven't bought the muse album, I've been severely disapointed in 90% of the stuff I hear a single from and go 'hey, maybe I should buy this', is it worth the 10$ or whatever?

Do people get hung up on Michael Jackson's kids' DNA just because of race? George Lucas' kids are all adopted but who care about that?

2013-02-20 02:30:20 AM

ng2810: darch: Zerochance: Onkel Buck: Are we sure she is really his? She has none of his features, unless he had plastic surgery on his DNA too.

That's what I'm thinking.  Michael bleached the shiat out of his skin, be he can't change his genetic code.  This kid looks 100% white.

THIS. Michael Jackson, difficult as it is to recall/believe, was 100% BLACK. Like dark skin, broad nose, tight, kinky hair black. This girl, even with a white mother, is 100% CAUCASIAN.

I read somewhere that MJ had a genetic disease (probably Lupus) and didn't want to risk passing that down to his kids...

Holy hell, you people have very little experience with mixed-race children. Yes, her skin is pale, but that doesn't mean shiat. My father was 100% black and my mom 100% white and, assuming I've not been out in the sun*, I am white as a sheet of paper. Just because you have a dark skinned parent doesn't mean that you can't be pale.

And, regarding features, she has his eyes and nose. Do a GIS for MJ from the Thriller era and take a look. They have the exact same nose (dead giveaway that she's mixed) and their eyes both have the same shape and the corners slant down from the outside toward the nose. Contrast that with mom, Debbie Rowe, whose nose hooks down at the tip and whose eyes' corners are more or less level across her face.

* We don't tan, we don't burn, we bronze. It's farking sexy.

You know who else is half black, but doesn't really look her father at all?  Rashida Jones.

Genetics are funny like that.

First guitar was a Tasco bought from K-mart.
Strings were about an inch off the fretboard.
Not a 'beater to learn on'
If you want to say Fender Squires are better, the 'Play It Now' kit I received as a present a few years back included a strat clone that had zero setup.
'Sounds Like Crap Out of the Box' should have been the name.
Now, knowing the two, and having setup on the Strat, I learned that one should not rely on a 'beater' to learn on. This will only hamper your learning curve. You will never know whether it is you or the instrument that never sounds quite right.
There is the argument that if one can do well with crappy hardware, moving up will sound even better.
But I have to wonder how many people gave up, thinking they could not master the instrument, and never knowing that it was the instrument itself, and not the person?

Derptastic post, dude. You're way over doing it.
3 white kids of different features kinda suggests he's not the biological father. However, he was their daddy and that's just peachy. He didn't use his seeds, no matter how you try to justify her/ their appearance.

If she has the exact same nose that Michael had during Thriller all that proves is that they have gone to the same plastic surgeon. Michael had already had a nose job by that point.

The double was picked because he was a talented dancer, singer, and MJ impersonator.

Here's another one:  http://youtu.be/EFxajH1Z8ng

The thing about MJ is that he has almost as many talented imitators as Elvis does. It was easy for the record execs to pick someone who fit the bill.

I'm biased, but yes. They have a lot of variety in their catalogue now, so there's bound to be some things that you like. I don't recommend the last two albums to people who are just getting into it, unless they're pop enthusiasts who would love the likes of "Madness" or "Resistance". Origin of Symmetry and Absolution get the most enthusiasm from rock fans. Bellamy is a very good guitarist who makes use of all sorts of distortion effects and pedals, while also being a classically trained pianist/composer (influences include Chopin, Rachmaninov, opera, flamenco guitar, Tom Morello, Queen and U2).

Good starting points are Hysteria, Knights of Cydonia and Plug in Baby.

I choose to believe that Michael's children are biologically his. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. There are asian and white genes all mixed up in that Jackson blood. Michael's grandfather had green eyes as does his father. Katherine Jackson has Chinese blood mixed on her side. Even if Michael is not the biological father of these children, what does it matter? He raised them and I'd say, based on everything we've seen and heard from them that he did a damn fine job. So please can everyone shut up about their paternity?
