I think it's important that the legislation takes into account that Mexican Americans don't like to just get into gang fights, but rather takes into account that they often enjoy flowers, music, and white girls named Debbie too.

That's the right thing to say, since the leaders of said "congressional process" - or at least the Republicans among them - absolutely planned the Obama plan over the weekend.

I gonna take a wild leap and guess you meant to with "panned" there.

Rep Paul Ryan accused the Obama administration of pursuing a "partisan advantage and not a bipartisan solution,...

It's a Plan B based on the zany idea that the GOP are not gonna get anything useful done on this issue because they are not dealing with it in good faith.  Now where would the Dems have gotten that cynical idea from, eh? Oh right, observable reality. Go on...

" while Sen. John McCain insisted that lawmakers were "making progress on a bipartisan basis."

He sees this as his last shot at redeeming himself and he's probably not wrong there.

Sen.Marco Rubio went a stage further and said "the plan was "half baked and seriously flawed," even "dead on arrival."

Was he talking about Obama's plans for immigration reform or his notion of running for the big chair in 2016?

Rubio on immigration is hilarious to watch. Dealing with an openly bigoted party he's going around pretending that the GOP are not pandering but serious about reform while accusing the Dems of the opposite but everywhere he goes on the RW media circuit he gets rebuffed.

See: Limbaugh's open skepticism on the subject when Rubio was on the show earlier this year.

For the open bigotry thing see: the comments below the article.

I'd rather they hire them to write up their legalization plan.

oh wait, Obama doesn't actually want legalization. Because that would make too much sense

So, does that mean Dave is here, man?

Let me guess.
They are starting to bus them up from Mexico in a fleet of these.

This could pose a real problem in the fast paced world of Washington. I hope they know that Mexican Americans don't like to get up early in the morning, and when they have to, they do it real slow.

Well upon first glance

RELATED: Spaghetti is tasty. Read more here.

I was thinking, "What sort of contrived political BS is the GOP trying to make hay out of this time?"

Then I realized yes, that's exactly what the GOP was doing.

So f*ck you, Marco Rubio.

Obama: It doesn't matter what you do about immigration, Hillary is just going to kill your little Mexican friend in 2016

Rubio: I'm Cuban, B!

Obama: Ahhh, yes! Cuban Bee!

Mexicans are lazy, and they're taking all our jobs.

unexplained bacon: Mexicans are lazy, and they're taking all our jobs.

Yes, as the stealing of employment is directly related to how little you want to work for it.

I find Marco Rubio to be hilarious, as he's almost universally reviled in the Hispanic community. I also find it hilarious that the idiot who posted this link and crapped his pants about Benghazi is traipsing around in the shadows of the lightened loafers of Senator Graham.

You forgot to add the following subby: ...and it's still better than Congressional Republicans can come up with (read: which is nothing).

Unlike Submitter, who is obviously full-baked.
