Isn't a hero someone who rescues someone else? This fellow rescued that dog from being crushed and gave it a good home. He;s more of a hero than some poxy football player or pop star.
NobleHam: He is more of a hero than those people, but no, he didn't rescue someone or something, he refrained from harming something he found. He didn't jump into a frozen lake or walk over hot coals to save a puppy, he found a puppy in danger and he didn't callously toss it aside. I'm not denigrating his character, I'm just also not hyperbolizing it.
