It took me about a thousand listens on FM radio in the 70's to get to the point where I truly do not care if I ever hear it again.

So about a year, maybe a little less

It's a good thing Chubby Checker doesn't think like Plant. If he did, we'd never hear "The Twist" and "Twist Again" again.

/imagine playing those two songs at every show for the past 50+ years. And that's all that anybody came to see.

Musicians who do not play their popular songs are  pet peeves of mine.I saw George Clinton perform "Atomic Dog", it was like watching da Vinci paint the Mona Lisa.
