That wasn't a mini.  Might have been the body of one.   That's like saying "stock car" racing is actually using a car I could buy off the show room floor.

This. A tube-framed race-engined 25-inches-of-suspension-travel-ed car with a Mini body on it is not necessarily a Mini.
