Lord Snoopy's G.P.E.H.: Just remember to send the battleships at the enemy in a really close formation, so one enemy hit will cripple several ships. Also, don't worry about ammo, it's unlimited. Shoot each bug hundreds of times at least, even after it's been blown to bits. Now all we need is beer, a football, and an electric violin.

Joelogon: I would like to know more.
vrax: Lor M. Ipsum: Oh thank god, it's a shop: LinkyAh, Poe strikes again at Fox News. Too bad they are too thick to ever be embarrassed by it.
Kurmudgeon: A Shambling Mound: I prefer the book to the movie. For armored bug-hunts I prefer Armor by John Steakley.Agreed, Armor needs to be made into a movie. A 2 parter, in fact. And if they ever do, all fans talk it up as much as you can before CNN and all can trash it.
A Shambling Mound: For armored bug-hunts I prefer Armor by John Steakley.
neuroflare: While I watch the movie a lot, I still dislike the fact that in the book Dizzy was a dude. No Rico didn't fark him like in the movie./good book, I recommend it
NathanAllen: Why does everyone get that RoboCop is supposed to be funny, but almost nobody understands that Starship Troopers was yet another piece of satire?
Macular Degenerate: Ftfa: It's a coincidenceNo, it's because space debris tends to follow in fairly tight orbits after collisions. It's likely that Earth is plowing into bits of 012 DA14 that broke off due to previous impacts and are now all clustered in roughly the same orbit.Space is really really farking big. There is an infinitesimally small probability that this is just "coincidence"
LesserEvil: LonMead: LesserEvil: minnesotaboy: Starship Troupers thread without shower scene pics?[www.hotflick.net image 720x540]FARK, I am disappoint.[i.imgur.com image 599x466]You don't happen to have the original of that pic, do you?Sure...[1.bp.blogspot.com image 300x375]
s1ugg0: That movie was painfully bad.
js34603: Damn it all to hell, I love that movie. I know it is a piece of god awful schlock but I love it./the only good bug is a dead bug//liked the book too, though it is hard to consider the film and it related
People_are_Idiots: I've been saying that maybe these are meteors knocked to Earth by the big one. Things the size of baseballs and Volvos.
LonMead: KLAATU... BARATA... NNNN... necktie? nectarine?something with an "n", I know it...
Mad_Radhu: Albert911emt: Odd Bird: Thread fails without Dina Meyer[images.wikia.com image 409x544]I always thought Dina Meyer was waaaay hotter than Denise Richards.\I'm dizzy for DizzyRed on the head, crazy fun in the bed.
DontMakeMeComeBackThere: Can we stop talking about the Cuba thing like it was real? Also, somebody call Dina Meyer, I'll warm up the co-ed shower.....
State_College_Arsonist: Am I the only one who figured that the asteroid impact in Starship Troopers wasn't caused by the insects? Seriously, traveling across the galaxy at sub-light speeds would take very, very long, meaning the asteroid would have been launched long before humans and bugs had ever met.
namatad: Wouldnt it be AWESOME if the latest media scare actually led to more funding for nasa?EVEN if it were just for asteroid defense?
Ed Finnerty: Is that a Kardashian?
