When they're all gone, we'll eat each other.

What are a few almonds compared to the profitability of sales of insecticide?

Reading the FA, the sad things is, the bees regular hunting grounds are replace with massive corn fields and then to try and keep them alive they are fed high fructose corn syrup. HFCS, is there anything it doesn't fark up.

Actualy it's Bayer that loves poisoning the bees with neonicitinoids, but you're on a roll.

Good news everybody,  the raw materials for beer and wine don't need to be pollinated by bees.  When the bees are gone, and the ecosystem crashes, we can drink ourselves into a blissful oblivion.

Also the part where they take half the bees in the country and shove them into one little area for a few weeks every year.  What could possibly go wrong?  Imagine if half the population of people in the US were put in one county for 3 weeks every year.  That couldn't possibly spread disease.
