Well, if there were zero cakes yesterday that had Spiderman hiding in them, then one today, that's certainly a trend.  A significant one, in fact.  Roughly half a billion years from now, we'll all be up to our asses in cakes with Spiderman hiding in them.  Literally.  It's the new economy, I tell you.  You'll build houses from them, your cars will be powered by their sugary goodness.  And the currency will be - you guessed it - SPIDERMAN!

Spider-man makes more sense. One wedding superstition is that it is good luck for the bride to find a spider in her wedding dress, so finding a Spider-man in your wedding cake isn't that far of a stretch.

Marvel has a Satan. Mephisto is not him. Mephisto is Mephisto. Satan is Satan (and he has a son).

Mephisto is a demon/god that makes deals, not unlike Loki, or if you're a fan of Happily Ever After, not at all unlike Rumpelstilskin.

And Peter didn't make the deal. Technically, MJ did. Peter was going to say no to the terms and MJ insisted because she cared about him.

The comic improved greatly after they dropped the MJ romance and marriage. She's dead weight for Parker, and always has been. The only people who like her as his girlfriend/wife are those who were introduced to Spider-Man by the cartoons, and people who get off on ridiculously-drawn redheads.

Jeez. It was over a hundred issues ago. Let it go, guys. It was a crappy story, but one crappy story doesn't ruin an iconic character. If that were true, every DC character would be irrevocably destroyed by now.

My idea for my wedding was when the official was asking the questions (Do you this, do you that, etc.) I would say
"Jeez I wasn't expecting the Spanish Inquisition!" Then 3 friends in costume would jump out from behind a curtain. We would do the bit for a few line until the bride yells "Get on with it!" And my groomsmen would drag them out whilst screaming about being repressed.

There was a guy in one of my architecture studio classes that was really talented at sketching.  His building section drawings would always be filled with lots of people to help illustrate the scale of various spaces.  He also used to hide spiderman somewhere in the building too, much to my amusement.

That Creepshots dude deserved it. Fark that. He deserved more. I'd like to see his skeevy ass thrown away for life. And then some.

I'm talking about the general anti-Reddit sentiment among people like Adrien Chen (who faked having cancer, then accused Reddit of being gullible for believing him). If they don't like the site, that's fine. But don't turn around and them mine it for content.
