I don't recall Fox ever having a chyron that said..

"Armed police in every school?  At what cost?"

The Venn Diagram of "People who bleat 'Why we lettin' them there Chi-Coms kick our ass in sciencin'" and "Fartb0ng0 ain't gettin' one dime of my disability check for his big guv'mint school schemin'!" bears a suspicious resemblance to the flag of Japan.

I am currently paying for pre-school for my kids.  I'll be damned if someone else is going to get it for free after I am done.

I don't care if it will save me money in the long run, someone is getting something for free and I won't stand for it.

How dare he give things to poor people. Only the rich and corporations deserve government handouts

Stuart Varney just wants his country back. The original 13 colonies.

His business "reporting" is on par with an 8-year-old child.

You can just ignore him. Everyone except the people clinging to life already do.

How many more votes does Obama need to buy before he is elected President again?

Mugato: What is Obama running for now?

There's actually a lot of "Farbongo's gonna fix it so he can run for a third term" derp out there now.  Never mind there's no way in hell that the 22nd Amendment gets repealed, since any amendment to do that would require ratification by some very red states.  But the derp is out there.

I'm guessing the prevailing theory is that Obama will manufacture a crisis, declare martial law, and indefinitely suspend elections...

Wasn't that they way Bill Clinton was going to hold on to power?

Bush was going to open the gates of an entire plan to make America a Repubutopian Derpopolis. 9/11, Iraq, and the subsequent economic collapse ruined all that.  Then in 2008, they brought a pair of tits to a black guy fight, and unfortunately for the GOP, people don't elect just tits.  They would have known this if they had bothered to ask the tits any meaningful question before ushering her out into the limelight.

Their last hope was making Obama an American Fluke--something we weren't and probably never will be ready for, and ran the richest whitest white that ever rich whited, alongside what appeared to be a bleached Fraggle.  But America overwhelmingly responded to this increasingly desperate cynical cry for help with a resounding "NO!"

So I say let them have their hissy fit.  They know that we know what they are about, and they know we don't like it.  It's over.  The GOP as it is now will win elections in the future, but their vision for America is finished.

I thought the same thing when Edwin Meese tried to make pornography a crime. He also came up with abstinence-only JUST SAY NO! and asset forfeiture sharing with local police to make them bounty hunters.

Nationally, the GOP will take a breather, but we'll be dealing with these people until the day we die.

The more the republicans blame Romney's loss on stupid shiat the less chance they'll pretend to address the real reasons and the less we'll see of them in office.

"questionable documents" uncovered by Orly Taitz.  BWAAAA-HA-HA-HA!!

Look, a massive expansion of government to put armed federal agents in every public school in America is a wonderful thing. It's like TSA times 1 million!

There are basically three things that correlate with student success. Access to early education, parental involvement, and class size/classroom management.

How could any one ever be opposed to any of these things? Getting students in an education environment early, getting parents involved, and keeping classrooms managable all seem like things that would be completely non-partisan. I honestly don't get how you could be opposed to this.

2013-02-17 11:27:35 AM
The rich have to pay taxes and then some of that money goes to public education which middle class and poor families will use?!? This is an outrage!

If you can afford to send your kids to private school, fine. If you can't, tough cookies, no more handouts. I'm not paying to have some union member babysit your child.

Have them go beg for their money or wash dishes or go to a coal mine or something useful.

I have an ex-girlfriend whom I strongly suspect has developed paranoid schizophrenia over the last decade (and was probably the reason I broke up with her, in retrospect, though I didn't know it at the time). I've been agonizing over finding a way to tell her without making her angry or depressed.

But looking at the comments on that site, it has made me realise that there are a LOT of people who are far more delusional than she is. That's pretty frightening.

FTFL: The case in question is Edward Noonan, et al v. Deborah Bowen, California Secretary of State, and the Justices are finally looking at it thanks to the dogged determination of Orly Taitz. The case calls into question many of the documents Obama (Bounel, Soetoro, Soebarkah, etc.) has used and/or released as authentic since he came on the national scene.

Oh, FFS. Well, I guess it's time for me to take advantage of my student account at Westlaw before they shut that down.

Nope, nothin'. Lemme check Scotusblog and see if they have something listed.

Nope, nothin'. Oh, here it is: http://www.supremecourt.gov/Search.aspx?FileName=/docketfiles/12a606. h tm

I didn't say we wouldn't be dealing with these people until the die we die.  That's in fact what I wrote in the comment you were responding to.  What i said was their vision for (or delusion about) America has been proven unpopular and unfeasible.  This goes back even further than Meese, but they have never wagered their entire mission statement on one election until this one.  They wanted a cultural mandate, and they lost.  America is just fine with a black president, gay rights, legal pot, abortion, rock n roll music, internet porn, deep space exploration, affordable health care, and close dancing.  As Meese is a diminished footprint on the right wing totalitarian success map, right wing totalitarianism is a diminished footprint on America's.  Hell, even they admit it in the only way they can do anything--half-assed.

Sure, assholes will always be around.  But they will never again be on top as they once were, unless they stage an armed coup, which is a laughable fantasy carried by woodland camo paint huffers who don't fit on regulation toilet seats.

This is the same guy who said that Downton Abbey is a Conservative show because it paints rich folks in a good light.

"The politics of Downton are very important and it's important that they are popular in America today," Varney said. "Rich people, powerful people, in America today, are reviled. They're dismissed as fat cats who don't pay their fair share. We just hate 'em -- 'Rich people are evil' ... Yet, along comes this show 'Downton Abbey' -- rich people prominently featured and they're generous; they're nice people; they create jobs, for heaven's sake; they're classy; they've got style and we love 'em ... That show is wildly popular, which poses a threat to the left, doesn't it?"
