Nogale: My parents refused to buy sugary cereals. We had to make do with plain Cheerios or Wheaties, or GrapeNuts. Sleeping over at friends' houses was always a treat - Fruit Loops for breakfast!
Precious Roy's Horse Dividers: [retrodc.files.wordpress.com image 425x250]I pity the fool who don't eat my cereal!
spentshells: I've eaten better than half of those. Never had croonchy stars after seeing it, my 80's breakfast lineup seems incomplete, c3po was lame tasting but I had to have it when I was 4 or 5 or 6.pacman cereal however was excellent and part of a nutritious breakfast but only if you left it on the table beside the mini wheats and orange slices. Unfortunately due to pacman cereal I now have a sick obsession with lucky charms, in the morning I can eat a days worth of calories in one sitting. Now that I have my own kids I only get the shiatty cereal around the marshmellows

WhyteRaven74: Some of those, if I saw them at the store, I'd be grabbing them without even thinking twice. Oh Nerds cereal, how I miss you.
John Henry Eden: Morning breakfast cereal? Is there any other kind? How about the afternoon breakfast cereal? Or the late Saturday night breakfast cereal?
MadBlue: Speaking of 70s cereals, any love for these guys?[farm4.staticflickr.com image 208x179]
italie: Ahhh, yes, 80's cereal. Only in the 80's could a pet food company have cornered the market on yummy breakfast options.[media.comicvine.com image 300x300]
SpdrJay: Article makes me feel old, since by the 80s I wasn't eating cold cereal anymore.... I never noticed most of those!/broke a baby tooth on Quisp cereal in 1968
Fubegra: Crispy Critters was around in the late '60s as well.[fubegra.net image 305x430]/thread begs for a PS contest even though it's been done before
Beerguy: The greatest cereal of all time was the ORIGINAL Cookie Crisp from the late 70's[upload.wikimedia.org image 302x405]What they sell as Cookie Crisp now is an abomination in comparison.
JerryRigged: My vote says the 70's were better. Quisp and Grins & Smiles & Giggles & Laughs ftw.
sniderman: I loved all the Cap'n Crunch offshoots. Everyone's had Crunchberries and Peanut Butter Crunch, but where's the love for the others?[eclectikrelaxation.com image 292x420][1.bp.blogspot.com image 293x384][www.mrbreakfast.com image 300x421]
