Cain is the new Palin?

Does Ailes have some sort of rule about how many non-blondes can be employed by them at the same time or something?

Meh, I got no hate for Cain, hope he suckers those rubes but good into buying his silly books and whatnot.

I actually like the guy in a weird way...at least he can poke fun at himself, unlike that humorless, soulless witch Palin.

I'd rather have Michael J Fox do brain surgery on me than have a President Cain, but I wish no ill will for the guy.

If they allow him to be himself, this will be kinda awesome as comedic gold. If they force him to Be Serious and read prepared lines all the time, meh...ignorable.

I don't think he'd be that bad tbh. I think he's a very intelligent man (geography might not be his subject though) who panders to the ultra right for the free money.  I think he'd at least try and do a good job but I don't think he'd be as actively malicious as a lot of the other consivertards trying to get in the game.  I used to listen to him when he subbed for Boortz on his radio show years ago and I have no idea what happened to that intelligent well-spoken man (who though I disagreed with him at least he used thought in his arguments) when he decided to run for president and turned into a straight on retard for a few months.  Hopefully the non-retard Cain will return and bring some reason to Faux news but I think he's found his magic gravy train now so I doubt it.

It's like he put on this insane act I have no idea what happened to him.  It's like he saw all the retards like Bachman and Santorum and said "well fark all that libertarian live and let live shiat I've been saying for years, i'm going to go straight derp on everyone and turn into a bumbling idiot".  And then he got paid for it.  So probably that.

Glad to see they are trying to be more credible.

Also, anyone with any sense knows that this was Cain's purpose for running in the first place. He knew he would get his fifteen minutes as the black candidate that could take Obama, then when Iowa and New Hampshire came around he'd finish middle of the pack and transition into the real money making job: Fox Contributor and Book Seller.

Few people know that Herman Cain was the result of government experiments. But this is only the beginning of tonight's Unsolved Mystery.

In 1971 a few scientists had the foresight to realize what ARPANET would eventually become. Understanding the need to maintain the upper hand on a future internet, they set out to engineer the perfect troll for reasons of national security. No cost was spared, the project became the greatest secret scientific compilation since the Manhattan Project.

Ridiculous and insane, yet endearing and entertaining. Human enough to garner sympathy, machine enough to never stop trolling, no matter what. The project was considered a resounding success.

He was given a cover job in the US Navy and his uncanny intelligence with all things regarding computer networking was covered with a story about him having graduated Purdue with a Masters in Computer Science.

What they couldn't anticipate was the basic run-time protocols they had programmed for reward/punishment reactions during his training and development would evolve with the machine. His insatiable love for pizza (his programming's primary reward engine) caused him to break from cover and pursue his own pizza interests. Rather than terminating such a fascinating specimen, he is watched closely but not interfered with.

To this day even the scientists that designed him aren't sure if he is trolling us all or pursuing the highest office in the land in order to secure his hold on the pizza markets he holds so dear. Such is the perfection of his trolling technology.

Fundamental threat to the well being of society? Or possible savior of us all? Such can be said of all trolls created in a time when trolling meant something. Only time will tell, and that's why tonight Herman Cain tops our list of the top 10 greatest Unsolved Mysteries.

They just hired Kucinich.  Therefore they're balanced.  He's almost got enough left wing derp to even it out.

Or having a hot, married woman to hit on available was part of Cain's contract, and none of the current employees agreed to it so they had to hire a ringer.

Is this the new, sensible Fox News that all the wonks have been telling us about lately? About how the election was a wake-up call and how refreshing it was that they fired Palin and Morris and how that proved they were finally making an effort to be perceived as a real news organization?

Weren't they telling us the same thing when Fox dumped Glenn Beck?

Only took them a month to change that idea around after firing Palin.
