The racists on the left are out in force. How dare an American of latino heritage speak his mnd? Es[ecially a Senator!. I have heard nothing but positive, patriotic words from his bilingual mouth. You liberals like minorities who stay on the planation or the hacienda and take marching orders from the idiots who earn their living trying to banrupt America.

Don't let the them silence you Senator Cruz. You are one of only 100 EQUAL Senators. I want to hear your voice on every issue.

That sound you hear is the breaking of the liberal chains which keep blacks and hispanics working at low wages for rich liberals. They thiink you're good enough to clean their mansions, but not to be a proud, loud Senator. Keep up the good work, Senator Cruz! You make all true Americans proud.

Dr.Zom: quatchi: Dr.Zom: Born in Canada, huh?

Yeah, sorry about that, eh.

I would never blame Canada for this douchebag. Sadly, he is a uniquely American douchebag.

Yeah, Canadians are just really big on apologizing as part of that whole polite thing.

I bumped into a mannequin at the Bay the other day and spent half a minute apologizing before realizing..

Then I apologized to the mannequin for that mistake.

Think we ended on good terms there.

In a perfect world the ghosts of Ann Richards and Molly Ivins would have appeared from out of nowhere and kicked the living crap outta Ted Cruz by now.

"All I can say is that the appropriate way to treat Senator Hagel is to be as tough as you want to be, but don't be disrespectful or malign his character," Mr. McCain said in an interview.

Oh fark you, asshole.

But unlike the McCarthy hearings, the Teabagger Witchhunt will only target republicans they don't like and reinforce the public image of the Republican party as a regressive. In the words of the President, please proceed, Senator.

Of course. That's why "McCarthyism" today is synonymous with honor, integrity, and truth.

He's only doing what he was voted into office to do.

Which is what most Republicans were apparently voted into office to do.

Shiat all over everything possible, then blame the Democrats when everything is covered in shiat.

Fuggin Bizzy: ...Mr. Cruz...also questioned the commitment of Mr. Kerry and Mr. Hagel to the armed forces

How about that. I wonder what Mr. Cruz's commitment to the military looks like?

...though both served in Vietnam. Mr. Cruz has no record of military service.

Another Republican chicken hawk? This is my shocked face.

Not only that but Ted Cruz's father fought for Fidel Castro in the Cuban Revolution.  How do we know that Ted Cruz isn't a secret Communist?  I'm just asking questions.

Yeah, well, you need something to distract the rubes from real asshole senators...

Rush Limbaugh is a Hispanic senator?  Weird.

Perhaps he meant David Vitter?  He's not hispanic either, but he is a prostitute lovin' Senator.

It couldn't have been Vitter, no diapers were involved.

Xyphoid: I like the addition of the fact that he is questioning the dedication of two men, who both served in the armed forces, to the military of the United States, while not having done any service himself.
