Chrome OS...look I'm all about the internet, I have a facebook page and a gmail account, I don't use twitter because its for attention whores...but even I get creeped out by the thought of using an operating system designed by a company who's entire business model is acquiring and leveraging personal information.

Apple trademarked the design of their stores, so unless Google makes their stores look nothing like Apple's, subby isn't that far off.

Maybe then I can find a good case for my Note 2. I bought two online and one didn't even fit, and the other's hard plastic outer case cracked after a one foot drop. Ugh, I might just get the Otterbox if I have to.

It'll probably look like this.

Then they better fix the problems with the Chrome browser on the Nexus 10. The browser will crash more than I expected it to on a Google branded device using Google's browser.

Plus the wifi gets flaky when coming out of sleep/standby mode.

Stores?  That's so 2011.

Hmm, I have no browser issues with the Nexus 7.

Wow. Impressive headline. Real witty. Did your hate and rage about other people's OS choice fuel it?

So... physical stores to sell cloud-based virtual products, then?

Hmmm... I think you have a defective unit. I have a Nexus 7 for over three months and the browser has never crashed. No Wifi issues either. If you're still under warranty, go get it replaced. Or you can also try doing a hard reset:

The 7 and 10 are very different tablets. One is built by Asus and the other is Samsung, so the firmware and drivers will not be the same.

More likely it was fueled by brainwashing and a total lack of imagination.

C'mon guys! I specifically said Nexus 10. I have Nexus 7 and have no issues. It's the 10 I'm talking about.

I say I'm having problems with my Dodge Charger, and someone else says "I don't see how that's possible because my Dodge Challenger runs fine!"

Even worse, in this case it is like saying your Chevy Metro is having problems, and the response is people saying their Prism is running just fine.

heh in a few years maybe the local mall will also have a Facebook store, a Twitter store, a Fark store, and a Wikipedia store.

Christ! No need sound like an iDouche, especially once you get started with the lame ass car analogies.

Mad_Radhu: the firmware and drivers will not be the same.

The hard reset works on both the N10 as well as the N7 and the advise about your warranty applies to both as well.

So you get to sound off like a jerk but I can't? Ooookay....

My point, or my irritation is that geeks seem to have the worst selective hearing. If you have a problem with Steam, for example, go post that issue on the board and see how many bullshiat responses and unhelpful responses you get that just wastes time.

And that lame ass car analogy was pretty straightforward as far as that went. But you can always put me on 'Ignore' and be done with me.

My neighbor got a Kindle Fire for Christmas, and after playing around with it for a week or so, returned it for a Nexus 7.

She was just too restricted by the Fire's web browser. She loves the 7.

When I upgrade my hacked HP Touch, it won't be to a tablet that try's to handcuff me like the Fire does.

No need to get emotional... I was just saying you were sounding like a douche (worse yet, an Apple douche) when someone is trying to assist you with information that is applicable to your device. The fact that it also works on other devices (N7 and many other Android devices) is irrelevant. Hard resets are great because they'll factory reset your N10. This will help you determine whether it's some third-party application running in the background or just the stock rom.

I went ahead and fixed that for you. They are, or will be, consumer electronics stores, of similar size and selling remarkably similar products in likely very silmilar locations. They need not make them look 'nothing like' apple stores. Whatever shape they take it's gonna be some mod looking place with tables that have computers and tablets and phones on the tables. So people will say they look like apple stores no matter what they do.

So you say not to get emotional but then you resort to calling people names. You don't have a clue at all.
