I wrote a chrome extension to hide them. If I can ever get my issues with the web store resolved I'll publish it and post the link.

From my understanding, that's part of the reason you're not allowed to comment.  Advertisers didn't like seeing their products trashed by farkers.

Solution 1 - make a better product
Solution 2 - make cleverer ads
Solution 3 - grow a thicker skin, nancy
