Toys R Us has been a has been for most of my life.  Given how long I've been a has been, that's saying something.

It's positively hilarious to see prices in their stores upwards of twice the competition, who more often than not is within walking distance.  Any wonder they aren't making the grade?

I remember how excited I would be as a kid running through the aisles of Toys R Us.

So, I went into one a few months ago to see if I could recapture any of that old feeling.

Nope, I couldn't. Not even the video games interested me.

I blame Toys R Us, and not the fact that I am now old.

I remember hearing a rumor as a kid about a shopping spree contest where the winner would get a certain amount of time to grab as many toys as they wanted from Toys R Us for keeps.

They should bring back that rumor, obviously it worked on me.

Rumor is Toys R Us is trying to get their shiat together for an IPO.  Then they go and hire a bunch of dumbass teenagers who don't know a condom from a diaper to work in the Babies R Us stores.  Don't get me started about the pervert that works in the Boise Toys R Us.  I know for a fact that he likes his animated child porn.  Unfortunately it is legal in Idaho.
