JerseyTim: It might be the best "guy" movie ever written.
calm like a bomb: JerseyTim: It might be the best "guy" movie ever written.Nope, that's Roadhouse. Although WMCJ is a fine choice as well.
AntonChigger: Glad to hear that Kubrick liked American Werewolf in London as well. That movie is awesome, and the transformation scene is still amazing 32 years later
yoursafewordisharder: More interesting to me is that he wanted Steve Martin for the lead in what eventually became "Eyes Wide Shut." Woulda made a better move than going with Mr. Xenu.
Anne.Uumellmahaye: Am I illiterate or did that say that The Jerk was inspiration for Eyes Wide Shut?
Popcorn Johnny: Clicking that link downloaded something to my phone.
Dear Jerk: I can remember when I was a little boy. My grandmother and I could hold conversations entirely without ever opening our mouths. She called it "dry mouthedness." And for a long time, I thought it was just the two of us that had the dry mouthedness to us. Just like you probably thought you was the only one. But there are other folks, though mostly they don't know it, or don't believe it. How long have you been able to do it?... Why don't you want to talk about it?
ten foiled hats: ...In an hour, I'd've named White Men Can't Jump, though.^
thepeterd: I was thinking Wired Science, especially as I didn't realise White Men Can't Jump is a comedy.
chitownmike: thepeterd: I was thinking Wired Science, especially as I didn't realise White Men Can't Jump is a comedy.you are either retarded or trolling/not sure if retard
SwiftFox: Who cares? Kubrick's responsible for Barry Lyndon, the more-than-three hours of most boring, excruciating time wastage of my entire life. Theater opening night, more than half the audience left at the mid-movie intermission. I wish the party I was with had.
