/Nothing good ever happens to me. >.<

So, 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' live?  I don't think many of the other movies had words to their Elfman songs.

While he's doing that Johnny Depp and Tim Burton will fark each other while wearing bleak striped suites...under a gnarled old elm tree with no leaves on it....All while HBC screeches like a chicken.

'On October 7, Elfman will sing in public for the first time in 18 years, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra, to perform some of the songs from the films.'

So, it'll be where the BBC Concert Orchestra is.. since I don't think groups like that tour.  London, perhaps?

Only if his wife strips to the music.

Last line of the article: Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton is on October 7 at the Royal Albert Hall.

The info is there, it was just in a weird place. After the Frankenweenie video and the "related articles" section.

Good for him addressing a problem that didn't need fixing.

I look forward to taking my little girls to this show.

I saw Oingo Boingo in the late 80s/early 90s. Elfman routinely said between songs "live now! This doesn't last! Time is fleeting!" and the like, especially before they went into "No One Lives Forever."

Crowd reaction: "We know. That's why we're here at this very moment, genius."

/Red Hot Chili Peppers opened. Flea puked on stage.

I would murder a nun for tickets to a FULL Mystic Knights reunion. While I love his movie scores, it's just not the same...

Anyone else ever seen Fobidden Zone?

Danny does a great musical number int hat movie.

While an Oingo Boingo reunion sounds good on paper, I've seen far too many bands get back together after years > long after they peaked and it's sad.

I don't want a Boingo reunion.
I don't want a Smiths reunion.
I didn't want a Clash reunion.
The Stone Roses are money grubbing whores and Ian Brown STILL can't sing.

etc.

/Another year has come and gone

My private life won't allow me to get out to this show.

/can someone get me out of here?
//no true self-respecting Oingo Boingo fan can claim that title without seeing this once
///plenty of boobies to keep it interesting in the slow parts

In this town
we call home
everyone hail to the pumpkin song!

Jack Skellington singing live would be worth seeing.

I was there for the last time he sang in public. I might have to get all international and catch this show too.
/No you can't see me in the DVD

I was a Secret Society Staff member.  Got my name in a couple of albums (and in the DVD credits).  Leon Schneiderman was the nicest member of the band.  Also, I cried after the last show.

The Oingo Boingo farewell DVD / live show is sooo good.

Thanks to the generosity of my sister, I was able to go to the last Boingo concert... Elfman had been sick - but he came out and gave it his all. Was amazing.

2013-02-16 07:22:51 PM
If this goes well, perhaps it will give Danny the itch to pull Boingo out of the attic.

/Pretty please?
