Salem Witch: yobbery: quantum_jellyroll: yobbery:Sup QJ!Snackling? You make it sound like a *bad* thing. How's the world treating you and your crew? And did I see Micromedic in here a little while ago???The world is treating us OK. Not much happening right now...which is a good thing.I also believe I saw micromedic *and* Salem Witch?!?:o)Yup ;-)I was wiped out yesterday. I spent the day with my four year old great-nephew.He is so sweet and gentle with animals. Not so much with great-aunts :-/[imageshack.us image 800x599]He was digging a hole in the dirt looking for treasure. When he was done he filled the hole and pounded the dirt back down because "that will make it harder for the zombies to climb out".

We have less than half our usual snow and if that doesn't change soon even more of Colorado will go up in flames this year.Juno and Morticia checking out the lack of snow, or rabbits, yeah, probably checking out rabbits[farm9.staticflickr.com image 800x648]

laulaja: Am trying to think how to make these without buying the utensil; own a couple microwave muffin "tins" but somehow doubt trying to microwave.
Zizzowop: [farm9.staticflickr.com image 500x375]I don't know if anyone saw this on The Daily Show the other day, but I thought it was pretty funny.
Real Women Drink Akvavit: Laulaja, it's a Scandi (Danish, but we're all the same people, really) thing that one of my aunties taught me to make when I was dumped in Norway for the summer the year I was 10 or 11 Can't remember which year for sure as it was a frequent summer trip for my sis and I. As a result, I'm a bit more familiar with Scandi food than a lot of people in the US with Nordic heritage, but I honestly don't know how widespread they are in the rest of the Nordic countries. The "aeble" part means "apple" in Danish but I remember her using whatever she wanted in there. I think everyone does, though. My favorite variety was when we went for spring break and the wild strawberries were all over the place. They're small and sweet and absolutely yummy. I forget the word for "strawberry" in any Scandi language/dialect, but luckily almost everyone in my family is bilingual or even multi-lingual to a certain extent (they can communicate, anyway), so I can just hand her the pan if she ever comes to visit and say "Strawberry, please!" I've never been as good at making them as she is, but she makes them at least once a week. Practice makes perfect and all that. This kitteh approves of strawberry stuff! Especially the strawberry part. ;-p[goodlifezen.com image 420x295]/"jornbaerd"? "jordbaerd"? for strawberry? It'll drive me nuts until I ask my sis to say it sloooooowly for me. lol!
wildcardjack: [sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net image 850x637]I have someone to contribute for once. This is Flower. Poor cat got stuck with a stupid name from her prior owner, who more or less kicked her out in the middle of a divorce. She's an indoor/outdoor cat who's learned to knock when she wants in. Now think about that for a minute. She can knock on a door loud enough to be heard over the TV. When she gets worked up and goes to bat at you, you might not get scratches but a day later you'll be wondering where that bruise came from.

The First Four Black Sabbath Albums: It's been ages since I've visited Fark. I miss it. I'm just too busy with the various Boards of Directors I'm on and my day job. Anyway, I have to share the little photo shoot my wife and I had on Valentine's Day:[sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net image 850x850]
Leepj: Norwegian is jordbær. Hope that tickles your memory.
