I think true justice would be that if found guilty, the punishment should be to get bit by a Black Mamba. In the intrest of the punishment not being cruel AND unusual, he should get to choose where on his body the mamba bites him.

The venom of a black mamba can kill a human in four hours, if, say, bitten on the ankle or the thumb. However, a bite to the face or torso can bring death from paralysis within 20 minutes. Now, you should listen to this, 'cause this concerns you. The amount of venom that can be delivered from a single bite can be gargantuan. You know, I've always liked that word... "gargantuan"... so rarely have an opportunity to use it in a sentence. If not treated quickly with antivenom, 10 to 15 milligrams can be fatal to human beings. However, the black mamba can deliver as much as 100 to 400 milligrams of venom from a single bite.

Courts don't like  gargantuan lies.
One seldom gets a chance to use that word in a thread.
Anyone else mention that yet?

I actually enjoyed that movie. Nothing stellar, but he was definitely right about a real supervillain always making the best entrance

I thought so, too.  But the preferred term changed years ago.  Guess a lot of people didn't know what "venin" was.

What purpose does a cobra serve to someone that a more standard snake does not serve? Let's see - does it inject more venom without reload? Yes. Does it strike farther and more accurately? Yes. Does it accommodate a more lethal payload? Yes. So basically, the purpose of an assault style snake is to kill more stuff, more fully, faster and from further away. To achieve maximum lethality. No one needs a cobra, its just a penis extension, theyre terrible for home defense anyway, youre better off with a standard boa constrictor.

Ban assault snakes.
