I like how it starts with "Do not try this at home.  We have years of experience and lots of college degrees and specialized equipment."

That does not stop people who make homemade cannons.  He's demonstrating a cool principle about pressure differential, but all projectiles follow the same principal.  Take an object, put some pressure/force behind it, and it will move in the direction of lower pressure.  All he's done is artificially lower the pressure in front of the projectile with a giant sucking device, like your Mom.
