Thanks for your time and trouble with my query. I had figured that 24fps should pick up blinks--and so still wonder why I seem not to see so many of them. Now I'm gonna go to YouTube and try to find some barely-a-blinker to illustrate my point.

That's the kind of question that leads to me and a bunch of coworkers hypothesizing over shiat we know nothing about at the bar on Friday after work.  If we've been there long enough it leads to outright arguments and people looking at us funny.  Kinda fun.  So many pointless, yet interesting questions to argue over with a beer in hand.

If you look closely, you notice that the blinking of Romney's eyes are governed by a Fourier series, to simulate randomness.

Someone in my office said that his blinking and his mouth movements meant he is a reptilian.

Yeah, being called a Reptilian would be much less offensive than being called a Republican.
