Girls should stick to girl's sports, such as hot oil wrestling, foxy boxing, and such and such.

she's insane.  who would anyone play so many sports?  who would let their kid do such a thing.  no one should play sports.  sure doctors tell you sports and exercise good for you, but they say that because they can then treat your injuries.  it's the medical industrial complex at work.  hell, last night that poor kid nerlens noel suddenly destroy his knee as he was playing a sport.  that shiat doesn't happen if you don't play.  now he needs treatment.  wake up sheeple!

I played three sports in high school (cross country, basketball, and softball). Then, in the summers I played tennis in a rec league. I only continued to play one sport in college (cross country), but I'm glad I grew up during a time when kids were encouraged to play multiple sports. It seems like a lot of kids today specialize in one sport and play it all year long. If I'd only been able to play one, I'd have gotten tired of it and quit.

Exactly. My son loves soccer and plays that year round. But he also loves swimming and does that all year too. Once its summer its all soccer, pool, kickball, and nerf gun fights outside. I always tell him, once you are bored with a sport let me know. If he's happy doing them now I won't stop him. For some reason he wants to try tennis. Eh, its good running and hand/eye coordination.

or injured.  the repetitive motion and overuse injuries go way up with year round specialization.  mix it up kids.

I did 4 in HS: Football, Basketball, Track, and Fencing.  I did track in college and the coach made us do only that sport exclusively all year round (wasn't even allowed to do an intramural basketball game without her finding out and giving a screaming).  I ended up sustaining far more injuries doing that one sport than all 4 sports in HS,  and my performance actually declined in certain events despite my strength levels going up.

/biatch wouldn't even let me run hurdles.

I HATE IT WHEN THIS HAPPENS!! Don't get me wrong an "atta boy" is always nice but when you give me a picture tag like that I have no idea wth you're talking about. I pull from multiple folders and I'm not going back to each one to search. People need to learn to include the time tag or something else that I can find in thread.

I'm sure someone else has a fast and easy way of finding that info but I have yet to figure it out.
