"Baldwin said, adding that fines can be given unless vehicles over the limit of 7 1/2 tons are using the roads to pick up children or make deliveries on those roads."

""That's a district issue, not us," Baldwin said, adding that rescheduling bus routes is a school district's responsibility, while enforcing local laws is the borough's responsibility. "

I'm confused.  Can the buses make the routes on those roads or not and if they can what difference does it make if the bus pulls over and parks when it's done with the route?  If they do force the buses to reroute I'll bet there will be a lot of pissed off parents.

grinding_journalist: HortusMatris: Oh, so it's okay to drive on the road multiple times every school day to pick up/drop off kids, but parking the bus on the road is going to destroy it? I sense malarkey.

Here's a fun experiment you can do in your own home!

Lie down on the floor. Have a fat person lie down next to you. Have the fat person roll onto, and then over you. After that, have the fat person lie down on top of you and stay there. Which was more unpleasant?

Do you understand the difference now?

The difference between a boring and one hell of a Saturday night.
