OnlyM3: Do you carry a cell phone? One that can be turned on at any time remotely to do exactly what this TV is supposed to do?

I like that people are assuming that they will waste bandwidth feeding the video back. As if watching people watch TV is somehow interesting. It's a computer whose only job is to try to figure out who is holding the remote so you don't have to tell it. Your dog judges you more than it will.

But hey, maybe you should cover the camera in tin foil rather than tape. Can't be too careful, right?
