ooops wrong thread.....

Some comment from elsewhere

He didn't set the house on fire, I and a bunch of other people have been listening to the scanner. About 20 minutes before the fire was set the police said they were going to go ahead with the "burners" then. Then later they said they had set fire to #1 and #2 which were references to the sides of the house. They didn't set the back on fire.

EDIT: Since most people are seeing this first, here are the posts I made in regards to my comment: http://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/18ef8e/christopher_dorner_in _gun_battle_with_authorities/c8e6d19?context=3

Here is also a timestamp of when it happened so if you get your hands on audio, you have an idea of what time to look for. This is in PST: http://i.imgur.com/y7fpSWk.png

EDIT 2: Audio of police allegedly saying "burn it down": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNk-bV40XMc&feature=youtu.be

If you don't give me $1 million dollars, and a helicopter to New Zealand, I'll fill this room with so much CO2, it'll look like a freezer!

"Herman was arrested on suspicion of unlawful imprisonment, assault, shoplifting and aggravated assault of an officer, according to the documents."

He was lucky the cops didn't throw him in a box then set it on fire.

Was there alcohol involved?

"Witnesses told police Herman grabbed a bottle of alcohol off the shelf and lobbed it through a window..."

Oh. Not exactly what I meant.

"...breaking both the window and the bottle, according to the reports."

But having a gun in your home is like having a fire extinguisher. So why doesn't this work?

Rufus Lee King: The Dorner character seems to be a hero to a lot of FARK types. I wallow in the filth, anyway. Doesn't speak well of me, personally, but there you are.

If I couldn't divorce myself from interwebby stupidity I would have lit my own cabin years ago.

When a store employee confronted him, he left the store with the cigarettes - only to return to throw his keys at an employee.

Ah, so it wasn't the fire extinguisher they were afraid of, it was the KEYS. Makes sense now.

Steal cigarettes, leave car keys.

This guy is in the super-genius category, ain't he?

He was screwed no matter what.

Either run out and get sprayed by bullets, die in the flames, or shoot himself. Surrendering wasn't an option for wacko Dorner.

I doesn't even say what type of extinguisher it was. BC, ABC or D maybe. But a Class A fire entinguisher isn't deadly at all.

You find people like Dorner to be a hero and you think you should criticize me.  If he was such a hero to you why weren't you there shooting all the cops to get him out?  Then I would be rid of you as well.  If you thought the joke was just insensitive, fine I am insensitive.  That is why I picked the handle and make those kind of jokes on Fark.

Dorner was nothing more than a nutjob who decided to shoot up his old workplace.  Only he took more time and got some people to buy his crazy.  Let us not forget, not one person mentioned in his manifesto was harmed directly.  After he killed innocent bystanders his manifesto meant nothing but garbage.  Absolutely nothing about the LAPD will change, proving Dorner will be declared just crazy later when this studied in law & enforcement classes.
