Really? There wasn't an internal bullshiat filter in the heads of professional journalists that went 'um, maybe we ought to double-check on this one first'? Never mind the fact that they ought to be doing that anyway?

What is this "professional journalist" of which you speak?

/such things are unknown outside the ancient texts

From Fox News to Al Jazeera?  Well, I guess one terrorist news organization is as good as another.

/too obvious
//had to be done

2013-02-12 01:29:48 PM
Seriously?  Moving to MSNBC would have been more plausible.

2013-02-12 01:33:35 PM
I'm not sure there's THAT much out there that doesn't pass the "is this too crazy for Sarah Palin" test.

MaudlinMutantMollusk: What is this "professional journalist" of which you speak?

A person that is paid to practice journalism as a career.

Paid commensurate to their ability, that's another matter. But paid.

Man's got a point.

Al Jazeera has way to much journalistic integrity to hire Sarah Palin.

Sure is.  She can get some Michael "Lexington" Steele up in her to remind her of the Glen Rice days.

2013-02-12 01:43:55 PM
So are we saying it's implausible because she would never work for them, or implausible because they would never hire her?

2013-02-12 01:44:24 PM
They asked WaPo for a comment, and Al Jazeera for a comment, but they didn't ask Sarah???

That's the comment that counts.  It could have been pure gold.

2013-02-12 01:44:31 PM
If you promised her an hour of airtime a day, I'm certain Palin would agree to just about anything.

Ah

This IS the Washington Post, they are a "bit" idiotic there...

2013-02-12 01:45:41 PM
Anyone who actually watches Al Jazeera would know that those libby-libtards overe there wouldn't fark Sarah Palin with John McCain's penis.

2013-02-12 01:46:06 PM
Proud Patriot Palin would never work for a TV network partially owned by a Saudi prince.  Nosiree!

2013-02-12 01:46:29 PM
You know, I actually wouldn't put it past Palin to join al Jazeera.  She is no longer on FOX, her star is fading and she is an infamous, weapons-grade AW, so I really think she would sell her "services" to the highest bidder.

Bachmann on the other hand, I wouldn't have believed for a second.

Underscores the point that no one is interested in what she has to say anymore.

Bingo.  If you pay her, promise her airtime, and give her a platform for her word salads, that biatch would have gladly shown up on Air America.

Sarah don't hold no truck with the liberal sodastream media (LSM), which is full of liberals, Muslims, Democrats, socialists and abortions.

// also, if you've ever heard what comes out of her moose-hole when a news publication asks her a question, you'd pass on the chance, too

Err sure, but you also have to factor in the "is this too crazy for Al Jazeera" test, which it wouldn't pass.

Palin would just excuse/rationalize it by saying that she was going into the lions den and her dingleminions would demand AJE on US cable companies.

Fark you, Washington Post.   You just fed the dormant troll.

I wouldn't put it past her.  I would put it past Al Jazeera to give the time of day to this 2 bit cable reality TV "star" a place on their network, since their journalistic standards are head and shoulders above American cable news.

I'm going with "they'd never hire her".  Al Jazeera has more integrity than Fox News.

Being ironically 90's is still a thing. Granted that she's at least two decades too old to pull it off.

No, no, she's gone to al Qaeda. They hate the American government just as much as she does, they both have problems with the English language, and she's been promised all the TV time she can force Todd to film.

Sarah Palin joining Al Jazeera?

Absolutely preposterous.  About as completely implausible as Dennis Kucinich joining Fox News Channel.

If there were money on the table, it would be plausible. Hell, if there were money on the table, she'd join DriedUpNakedHags.com.

WaPo quotes TDC in an article on SP apparently unaware that TDC are a satirical outfit?

How they could not have known or at least suspected this was a joke?

Al Jazeera has way too much credibility to even think of hiring some over-the-hill word salad spinning grifter like SP.

2013-02-12 05:46:10 PM
I dunno what's so hard to believe about it.  Look, Sarah is first, last and always an AW.  Times have been hard for her lately.  People are less willing to shower her with cash and attention in return for her being a nincompoop.

If Al Jazeera offered her a camera, a microphone, a paycheck, and an audience, I have no trouble believing she would at least consider it.
