No I'm not trolling. It was such an engrossing movie that my date didn't want to leave to go to the bathroom and miss anything. He was literally twitching in his seat for most of the movie and when he finally decided to go (during the scene where the Joker is talking to Dent in the hospital) he tripped in the dark and fell over in the aisle. I found out after the movie that he actually wet his pants a bit during the fall. He tried to hide the stain but the smell was still there.

There was no second date.

Took a date to Watchmen once. Even though we don't date anymore she still hasn't let me live that one down. I had to watch "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" with her which was pretty dreadful and predictable.

For our first date, my now husband rented Evil Dead as he remembered it scaring the piss out of him as a kid and I had never seen it.  Still going strong after 17 years.

Me & a buddy of mine went & saw the first jackass movie on premiere night. We were one of a few of the "older crowd". Everybody was laughing & cutting up and the movie gradually got worse. A young couple was sitting next to us. The girl was visibly uncomfortable in the scene when the guy stuck the Hot Wheel up his ass. My buddy leaned over and told her, "Great first date movie isn't it?" She failed to find the humor in the movie or my friend so they left.

Dead Ringers.  Watched that the very same day that my girlfriend had "a procedure" for endometriosis.  Roommate had rented it and left it in the VCR.  We got home from the hospital and were in the mood to just curl up on the couch and watch a film.  It was painfully uncomfortable, but it was so inappropriate that by the time the "devices" were shown we both started laughing and couldn't stop.  Never should have lost that one.

First Date: The other sister.

Still married to her, 13 years later. I made her go see Ted with me last year. Now, we're even.

She said it was good but they left a lot of things unresolved. I really couldn't argue the point.

Probably doesn't count but I took a girlfriend to go see Save The Last Dance. She apparently did some ballet as a kid so she was interested in seeing it. After 90 minutes of awful film, she had nothing else to say for the whole night except complaints about the technical inaccuracies. Among other things, she didn't get how a girl who wants to get into Juliard can't fake her way through a dance at a club.

There was no poon that night. I went to bed first.

Boojum2k: Worst first-date movie for me had to be Sleeping With The Enemy. The date was good, the movie was okay, but my date really wanted to see it and it had already gone over to the cheap cinema. The climactic scene occured with most of the audience chanting "Kill The biatch" (among other things) over and over. We slipped out, and I got rescue sex.

If you didn't know his backstory, how was your movie choice insensitive and thoughtless? Besides, it's not like you KNEW Uncle Farker was going to be in the movie.

Haven't dated any 'sensitive' men, have you? My choice of films shows just how crass I am. Truth be told, had I known  his real story and the content of the film, I'd have probably trolled him with it anyway. Imagine the family gatherings. No intention of spending any holidays with that clan.

CSB: Our first date was a blind, double-date at the drive in. This was the second movie shown. Neither of us remembers what the first movie was. We all gave the movies the MST3K treatment, and we laughed our asses off all night. She and I been married almost 18 years now, and we still manage to make each other laugh.

"May" is one of my wife's favourite movies... also "Secretary", which *would* make a great first-date movie! If Maggie Gyllenhal getting spanked by James Spader doesn't turn her crank, nothing will, right?

I went to see "Carrie" with two girls. When the arm popped they both grabbed me and wouldn't let go for the rest of the night.  Worked out great for me if you know what I mean.  I think you do.
