Dear GOP, this is what countries that believe in religion more than science look like... is this really what you want our country to be? Iran will never be a serious contender for new weapons platforms (or any other science based endeavor)  as long as the powers that be insist religion is better than knowledge.

Some "Jet".  Take a look at the ASI:

2013.uploaded.fresh.co.il

Stall speed appears to be 70 knots, and the Vne is around 260 knots.

That's about what you'd expect for a very nice, slick GA prop aircraft.

This has to be the work of trolls attempting to eliminate any shred of legitimacy the Iranian government may still have.

vpb: They aren't trying very hard.  They didn't even remove the blue reflections from the lights on the stage.

Or the reflection on top from the ceiling lights.

Pretty high-tech, 4th-generation stuff - that's a Thrustmaster FCS Mark II game controller they've got duct-taped to the broomhandle joystick

Why would an Iranian plane need a sticker on it that says "Remove before start" in english on it?

That control on the joystick looks like it's off of a helicopter.

What a POS.

I've seen homebuilt aircraft with nicer panels.

That's exactly the same picture, right down to the reflections of the ceiling lights.

Not that it matters. The pictures are for domestic consumption. Their target audience doesn't even know we're laughing at them.

It's a sad commentary on your country when even the best Photoshop users you have wouldn't win a generic Fark PS contest.

It's the classic but rarely attempted Roger Rabbit technique.
