What a POS.

I've seen homebuilt aircraft with nicer panels.

I truly hope we never destroy Iran. I love this stuff they put out so damn much. Much the way I always wished every single person involved in the making of the movie, "Battlefield Earth" would always team up and make more movies. Pure gold.

I wish it was real.  It would be awesome to see the first jet downed because they didn't harden it against the electronic warfare waged by the decadent west.

"DAAAAAAMN YOU STUXXXXXNET!"*BOOM*

Russia should start selling them Kaspersky.

NBSV: If you consider planes like the SR-71 or a U2 stealth those have been around since I think the 60's

I wouldn't consider either stealth, both were quite visible on radar.

My *FATHERS* plane has a nicer (if more spartan) panel, and he built it himself:

I'm sorry, but just like the 9/11 conspiracy people, the wheel is missing from the "mountain" shot of the plane..and that's enough to convince me it's real.

firefly212: Dear GOP, this is what countries that believe in religion more than science look like... is this really what you want our country to be? Iran will never be a serious contender for new weapons platforms (or any other science based endeavor)  as long as the powers that be insist religion is better than knowledge.

I had you Favorited for some reason...  You just lost it for making an unfunny troll post.

Some "Jet".  Take a look at the ASI:

2013.uploaded.fresh.co.il

Stall speed appears to be 70 knots, and the Vne is around 260 knots.

That's about what you'd expect for a very nice, slick GA prop aircraft.

2013-02-12 11:22:27 AM
im sure someone has already pointed it out but the back of the instrument panel on the flight controls has an exposed untightened printer cable plugged in to it

2013-02-12 11:23:59 AM
Here's what gets me:
Do they really think that the outside world or their own citizens are that stupid?  Is anyone sitting there and saying, "Yes, I do believe that everyone will fall for this!" ?

I can't believe that this is a deliberate attempt to make the world underestimate them, that they're seeing a benefit of the world viewing them as fools.

It's not loose, it's *MISSING*.  And unlike the Qaher-313, that plane actually flies.

/Pic was taken right after he put the new panel in.
//Screw is there now, not that it mattered.

What kind of plane is that?  That panel looks almost identical to the ones on ultralights.

Logitech makes a more sophisticated flight stick than that. I like how it's attached to that pipe and goes into that boot on the floor. Just like an old Hurst shifter.

Good guess.  It's a Challenger I Special.  Not an ultralight, too fast and too heavy.  He N-numbered it as an experimental LSA.

/Gives Cessna pilots heart attacks when he climbs with his nose up 30 degrees.

Whose to say the Iranians weren't shopped in the photo of a fake jet?

Israel been screaming about Iran for years. "See! They have jets and are going to attack the world!"

No doubt the jet is fake. I can't help but wonder why are the warnings are in English.

2013-02-12 12:17:05 PM
If we send them a shopped photo of a mushroom cloud over Tehran, will they just go away?

That may just be a hold over from when the US supplied most of their planes.

Well to be fair to them, those things aren't exactly custom made. They're mass produced, and you can buy them all over the world, even in non-English countries.
