SImple solution, since it's impossible to determine where a 300 pound massive black guy might possibly be hiding....OPEN FIRE ON EVERYONE!!!

LAPD got their asses handed to them.
Nothing worse than a corrupt cop.   Well, maybe an entire corrupt police force.  Or entire corrupt government.

Crap, us little guys are screwed.

So they think the guy planned this for years, then suddenly lost his nerve? I'm sure he's got a decent hiding place and plenty of supplies to wait out the initial manhunt.

Either that, or one of the people the police shot actually wound up being him, and they just want to keep the fear-styria going so politicians can push though another constitution shredding bill.

What i find interesting, is that since the vehicle was found "near an associates property", they assume he was helped... rather than the obvious thing which is that he would have been familiar with an area someone he knew lived in, and thus chose to drive to a place he knew about.  You sure wouldnt stash your get away vehicle in a place you've never been before... how would you know the place was even there?

TMZ reported earlier that he had scuba tanks filled 2 days before all of this. This guy is a master at unconventional warfare. All he had to do was buy the equipment, not even use it, and now they have to search and secure against a whole other threat. One guy, one disruptive element, and he has the entire 10,000 strong LAPD just having fits, not to mention all the other law enforcement involved. The idea that just one guy can cause this much disruption is pretty incredible.

Creating the possibility of a conspiracy allows the police to widen the net and go after anyone who might express sympathy with Dorner. Such as, for example, some idiots here on Fark. Why yes, your posting location can be traced. Please don't assume that it can never happen here.

That's not what I'm saying. These are native Mexicans I'm speaking of, not interacial. Several years ago one of them gave me the abbreviated history lesson on this but I'll be damned if I can remember enough of it to make sense trying to type it out.

Why do we assume he is guilty of murder?  Shouldn't he be a "person of interest" or "prime suspect", i.e., presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law?

A classic:

"The war had been going on for nearly a year and the Sirian Empire had a huge advantage in personnel and equipment.- Earth needed an edge.- Which was where James Mowry came in.
If a small insect buzzing around in a car could so distract the driver as to cause that vehicle to crash, think what havoc one properly trained operative could wreak on an unuspecting enemy.
Intensively trained, his appearance surgically altered, James Mowry is landed on Jaimec, the ninety-fourth planet of the Sirian Empire.- His mission is simple: sap morale, cause mayhem, tie up resources, wage a one-man war on a planet of eighty million.- In short, be a wasp."
