Hahahahahaha!

I can see why the NBA is doing this as their jersey worn by the players with short sleeves does not translate well to the 300+ pounder at the bar cheering on the Celtics

i think it's just a plan to allow ever fatter americans a chance to hide some of their rolls while supporting their team.  granted the whole t-shirt under the jersey style already accomplished this without looking even more tarded.

This is clearly punishment for the last week or two of their play.

Shorts belong on a circus clown, though.

Wonder if it's being done to cover up the insane amount of tats on players.

Wait, you're saying short-sleeves look more ridiculous than a tank-top with a t-shirt underneath?

I guess I'll just have to politely but emphatically disagree. Tank-top + t-shirt looks ridiculous, and wearing them together gets rid of the purpose of each (staying cool).

i didn't mean a regular short-sleeve shirt, but any "average" american wearing one of these skin-tight short-sleeve shirts will look silly.  granted the solution might be that adults who aren't on the team shouldn't wear a tank top jersey in public outside of a gym.

In related news, how much longer will it take for the Heat to realize they need to go back to the blocky 90s uniforms full-time?

/Except ditch the red ones.  You're not the Bulls.

I like them.  A lot.  The shorts are ridiculous.  But I'm going to probably kop one of the jerseys to wear then I play goalkeep.

Even Mr. Cooper would be embarrassed by those.

The purpose of the tanktop is to show your support for the team. The purpose of the t-shirt is because men in tanktops look ridiculous.

I think they look pretty good, actually.

I'm, uh, impressed not so much by the sleeves but the fact they managed to get shoes in the exact shade of "we wish we were the Lakers" yellow to match the tops . . . but not shorts.  WTF?
