@serial_crusher: Not entirely surprising.  Nobody's going to get into that shiat (even for the kind of money the Internet can afford to pay them) without being on some heavy drugs.

Bullshiat.  Lots of fetish/BDSM porn models don't use drugs--on or off camera.  Of course like any cross-segment of the population a large number drink socially and many use weed to unwind on weekends, but almost all of them eschew hard drugs.

Yes, I really do know quite a few of them and they don't strike me as a sub-group that has addiction issues beyond the norm.  Many of them don't do it because they have no other way to make money, and they don't do it because they have self-esteem or daddy issues. Most have regular full-time jobs and do BDSM/fetish modeling on the side.  They do it because they really enjoy it--BDSM and fetish makes some people's bits tingle in a good way you know--even some women (I would suspect you don't believe that, but my Fetlife friends list says otherwise.)

And most BDSM/fetish porn producers treat their models really well, caring about their safety and comfort beyond what the normal porn industry does.  (Max Hardcore and other assorted assholes excepted.)

Stop demonizing sex workers by continuing to stereotype them as strung out crackheads desperate to do anything to get their next fix.  The truth is involvement in the BDSM/fetish genre is far more often motivated by internal drives and desire than by external financial pressures.

Rufus Lee King: uknesvuinng: "Delaying Arrest" is what they call resisting arrest if you're rich and white

All right! Nothing like a little early-morning racism to start the day.

Yeah, if we pretend cops don't treat wealthy and white people better than the poor and non-white, then classism and racism don't really exist, right?  How dare I cause social inequality by pointing out it exists?

Police were initially sent to Kink.com's massive, $14.5 million studio/dungeon in the old San Francisco Armory at 1800 Mission St. after a concerned citizen reported seeing a video online of men firing guns inside the premises...

This really sounds like someone that doesn't like what goes on in there had to do a little bit of digging to find a reason to convince the SFPD to actually go investigate. Considering that kink.com is based in a building called "The Armory" because it actually used to be A FREAKING ARMORY for the Army, and there is at least one actual old shooting range in the building. Though considering that's in the basement it might look like this.

Whomever the dumbass was that posted the videos online is a whole different sort of asshole, though, to say nothing of the idiot actually keeping coke on the premises.

Really? I had custom restraints made at a local leather shop in Mexico. My gf and I love watching kink.com vids and playing out selected scenes. Only drugs involved are generally weed and alcohol.

Someone got arrested for possession of cocaine? In San Francisco? What's that... a $500 fine?

From wiki:

Cocaine is illegal to possess under California Health and Safety Code 11350. Possession under HS 11350 can be prosecuted as a misdemeanor or felony with up to 3 years in prison. In practice, those charged with cocaine possession will in most cases be given an opportunity to plead guilty and receive no jail time under PC 1000, Prop 36, or felony supervised probation. People with prior records and especially those with prior drug possession records will often be given small jails terms such as 30, 90, or 180 days, along with felony probation.

So... pretty much nothing to see here. Unless the prosecutor has it out for him.
