You can tell if skeletons are from black people by the way their knee grows.

Lots of idiots in here making really stupid racists jokes that are not even all that funny (e.g. extra nose, McRib, etc).

I know it's Internet, and it's Fark, so I should not expect much.  But still... grow up.

HMS_Blinkin: St_Francis_P: Were they black bones? Or would I have to be completely trashed to understand?

Presumably the latter.  There is no way that I know of to distinguish a black person's skeleton from a white person's skeleton, without being completely out of your gourd.

Well, there is, but you basically need to be a forensic anthropologist to differentiate the two.  I don't think pot can certify you in that particular way ...

FTFA: The man said he just smoked a blunt and offered consent to search him, the report states.

I have no pity for people who choose to be retarded. Yes, I used the r-word.

He thought it was "a pile of mud with the skeleton of a black person drawn on it," according to a Rock Hill police report.

Were they black bones? Or would I have to be completely trashed to understand?

Normally I hate that the police will arrest someone reporting a crime, but given the crime of 'racist skeleton drawing' I'm guessing the guy basically self reported his own nuisance calls.

Considering that most African Americans are mixed race, I highly doubt you could tell a "Black" skeleton from a "White" skeleton. Hell it's hard enough to spot an African American from a Caucasian genetically.

Dow Jones and the Temple of Doom: Also, black people have an extra bone attached to the sternum. It's called the McRib.

Skeletons? Not so much. Skulls? Well, yeah. Only it's more by region of ancestry. Mongoloid, Cacausoid and Negroid...

Even then, it's a probabilistic estimate, rather than an actual identification.  (For example, "there is x% chance that this person considered him/herself Y".)

(Also, nobody- and I mean absolutely no one- trained in anthropology in the past 50 years still uses the terms "mongoloid, caucasoid, and negroid."  If you see any article using those terms that has been written since about 1990, it's not written by an anthropologist.  Those groups are paraphyletic and border on completely incomprehensible.)

Maybe the skeleton was holding a case of Heinekens?

It's a good thing he was a stoned anthropologist who could determine the continent of origin of the bones depicted.
