Not really 'blues' per se, but posted in celebration of Mardi Gras. I am a big fan of Cajun and Zydeco  and this song is one of the first recordings of the genre. I first heard this song while watching Schultze Gets the Blues. If you have not seen it I highly recommend it. A fun and fairly well told story.

Those of you who will be in New Orleans have fun, be safe and Laissez les bons temps rouler!

While it's not blues it's not bad either.
Thanks subby.

I found this guy a few years ago in North Beach SF... he was playing on a street corner and I was completely captivated by his music. His name is Toofless Sean Corkery and I catch him whenever he is back in this area. He is a great example of modern blues in America.

He only has a few videos up on Youtube... I probably need to rip the CD I have and make videos for him :)

Thanks Dancin' ; it's already on my queue.

My taste in Cajun runs to more modern people like Wayne Toups.

My Brother's rehearsal dinner was at Mulates. It was like I was in a different country. Love the region.
