Experts say that's an especially important concern because if the drug is ever used in humans for weight loss, patients would likely need to stay on the drug indefinitely, or else see the weight return.

How fortunate for the drug companies.

i've been stuck in a rut losing weight. i've lost 65 lbs already. been holding steady  (roughly) for two years. i run 15-25 miles a week. i travel a lot for work and the diet is what is probably holding me back. my kids asked me why i keep running. I told them I really like to eat. if i want to eat what i want or close to it...i have to exercise. the key is when i can't exercise is to hold back on the food.

its not like i'm scarfing down junk all the time but every once in while..i want some chips or some other stuff that i can't normally have.

need to jump start the exercise to get thru this holding point.

i would not even start on this drug though. once you stop...it comes back. i really don't want to be on a medication for life...that helps exploit unhealthy behaviour.
