Passengers paying up to £7,500 per seat were left unable to sleep.

Were they flying in a gold-plated replica of the Spruce Goose?

Normal 1st class seat I would say.     Also, top headline, subby

I guessed correctly, before I clicked.  Any prizes?

I am surprised awkward sexual advances made towards the pilots weren't mentioned.  Of course, that doesn't mean it didn't happen, only means no one complained.

As a left-hander, I enjoy typing the word "stewardesses."

TFA kissing and "cheavy petting".

But did anyone actually give a flying fark?

Stewardess? What is it?

Waitress in a bad restaurant 35, 000 feet in the air

Heavy petting, they were abusing animals too?

I too enjoyed the headline.

Next time something doesn't go my way in a public place, I fully intend to put up 'an almighty row'.  That sounds like a hell of a lot of fun.

Because when the stewardesses are making out you really want to sleep through that.

A bit of an exaggeration... Right now BA's F fare on that route is £5092 plus tax - so about £5400 in total - one way.

But very few people actually pay full fare for first or business class. Right next to the F fare is an A fare of £3131.50 - same seat, save £2000.

Or they're on an award ticket - that's my MO.

First and Club premium cabins. Everyone knows this sort of behavior is for coach.

That's not out of line for full-fare first class on international routes. If I'm spending that much, I should barely notice that the flight attendants even exist. They should be like ninjas; the only sign that they came through should be the sudden appearance of the drink or meal I asked for and the sudden disappearance of anything I'm done with and/or any passengers who violate the code.

Here, of all places, we should be the last to judge your apparent fetishes for balloon boobs, feathered hair and blonde crotch-afros.  This is the internet, there's probably a sub-Reddit just for you.

Pilots probably locked the anti-terrorist door.  The stewardesses were British hot, y'know.

It's European first class which is a noticeable step up from American carriers first class. It's said the high price also helps keep the riffraff away from the celebs (first class enters/exits separately from the rest of the plane).

Make sure you tell the CC if it's your first time in first (international), and make sure to check out the Concorde Room in Terminal 5 on your way back, if you're flying through LHR... one of the best airport lounges in the world.

1) Now I'm curious....what do I get when I tell the CC that it's my first time?

2) The Concorde Room is definitely on the agenda.  Actually, I get to use it twice....layovers in London coming to/from Prague.

Is the CC the same person as the CSD (customer service director)?

Well shiat, I've flown BA First/Club like a dozen times or so.  What did I miss?  If I tell them it's my first time, are they gonna go look up my frequent flier number to verify?  Is a happy ending involved?

(Their first class, BTW, is awesome.  My first choice for trans-Atlantic flights, or maybe tied with Brussels and Swiss, ahead of Emirates, KLM and Lufthansa and way, way, way ahead of Air France and Alitalia.  But alas, I've never flown Virgin, which I hear beats them all.)
