Isn't Nadal missing a leg or something? I know he insists he's healthy, but everyone else says he's still quite injured.

One of his knees is only at 50%.  Nadal looked more like Ironsides out there.

I almost completed the gallon challenge once. Got 7/8ths of a gallon down in 40 minutes.

Yeah, he was showing a lot of rust after a 7 month injury layoff, but still, Zeballos played a great match. Incredibly fun to watch. He won it, Nadal didn't lose it. Great shots. Even with the rust, this is a very small tournamebt. Nadal was ridiculously favored to win it.

"Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Horacio Zeballos".
"Who are the players who have beaten Rafa Nadal on a clay final?".

Nadal was obviously rusty after the layoff, but he showed no signs of discomfort of hesitancy in movement.
Zeballos just played the game of his life and was rewarded.

shiat happens?  Has anyone in any individual sport gone undefeated for their entire career?  Assuming that their career was 7+ years.  I could claim that I have never lost a fight in my life too, but my record would be 0-0-1 with a draw called by my 5th grade principal.

I'm not sure if I should be mad at your response or try and figure out a name for a more annoying version of rickrolling.  "Not quite a rickroll, as it is technically correct, but in no way helpful or what I was actually looking for" doesn't really roll off the tongue.

Last time I checked, basketball was not an individual sport, but I appreciate the humor.

early in his seven-month layoff Nadal repeatedly said he wouldn't come back until the knee was 100%. in recent weeks he's said it still hurts but he has to start playing again sometime. that to me seems pretty ominous.

/could beat him on clay if we were playing cribbage instead of tennis
