Win streak is at 7 PR (post Rondo)

The Celtics also had a great win over the Lakers and at the same time showed they aren't as farked up as them.

Boston may not get anywhere in the playoffs but I guess they will make the regular season entertaining.

I was there last night - definitely one of the top five regular-season games I've ever been to. Denver is amazingly talented, but as a diehard C's fan, it was great to see Pierce and KG take a "there's no ####ing way we're losing this game" attitude. Still not convinced they're better w/o Rondo, but the offensive flow is completely different now.

Is this about the Heat?  No?

Oh well, irrelevant game.

Well, the Nuggets were going to lose eventually, but damn that was a tough one to drop.

I wish I'd made it in... Snowed in. Great game though. The thing I'm seeing is that with Rajon most of these guys (expect for PP and KG) would sort of stand around and watch Rondo. They weren't moving without the ball, coming off screens etc... Instead it was let Rondo make his move and react. Now they are moving, cutting and making the extra pass. I don't think they are better without Rondo but I do think the new guys (and I include Jeff G in that) seem more comfortable. They don't have Rondo and his ridiculous talent as a crutch.

If they played offense like this when Rondo is on the floor, they would be fine.  It seems Rondo has to try to make a play for everyone, instead of players moving around.  Now that the offensive plays break down to a bunch of people running around, it is actually helping (besides, how do you defend a team that can't play a set offense without their PG?).

Principal Clarinet: Win streak is at 7 PR (post Rondo)

And the whispers of a Rondo trade get louder by the day...

Remember the year that Barry Sanders held out, and the Lions started the season 6-1 or some crap? It's amazing how these "professionals" can be motivated over and above what they should be doing anyway in every contest.

Boston could reach the Eastern Conference Finals if they can find a way to keep Rondo at home. Maybe trade him to Minnesota.

Pfffft. If the Nuggets aren't scheduled a game in Cleveland less than 24 hours prior to that then the Nuggets run away with it in Boston. Half the team had dead legs (Gallo: 7 for 20 at one point?).  I get it that all teams have back-to-backs and I'm not crying foul, I'm just saying the Nuggets are superior to the Celtics, Subbs.

/I really went out on the limb there saying that.

If the Nuggets don't spot the Celtics a 12-0 start it wouldn't have even been close.
