because the only chance you will ever see money when you grow up, is if you rob a bank. this playset should help the young ones work out a good plan.

That looks like a lot of fun, actually. These kids have probably seen Ocean's 11, The Italian Job, or maybe even The Dark Knight, so what's the difference?

Oh give me a break. Kids like to play things that are exciting and adventurous. Of course if you give them a bank play set they're going to play bank robbers. If you don't include the bank robber figure they'll just use another figure as the robber. What the hell else are kids going to play with a bank, they're not going to be giving mortgages to their action figures, they're not going to play "let's collapse the global economy with risky banking practices".

Could be used for crime: Last year police swooped on a shopkeeper's business and seized a cache of gun-shaped calculators because they feared they could be used in a robbery

Anyone who mistakes that for a real gun deserves to lose their money.

Have you never played Cops and Robbers?

Kids will do this no matter what you do. The best line of attack is to let them.

I thought that was the same thing as playing bank robber, 'cept you're working for the bank while you're doing it and rob quite a few more folks in the process.

Exactly.  If there isn't a bank robber, who are the cops going to heroicly swoop in and gun down?

I've been selling Playmobil at my store for ages.  They have had jewel theives, getaway cars, safecrackers, catburglers and so on for years.  Every police station set they release has a jail cell that has a breakaway wall for the villians can escape.

That's to say nothing of the knight and pirate sets and all the violence there.

Frankly I've always thought it was cool how they never felt the need to worry about being PC when it comes to there product.

IIRC, a few years back when I was in Munich for a language school, the ATMs there gave various denominations.

We have some that do 10's and more every day that do 50's up here, I'm not sure anyone even has a 500, let alone has them available in an ATM...

You expect accuracy from a toy?  However, you missed the screw driver somehow opening a safe.  I would rather see a truck with a chain and detachable bumper for that redneck flavor, for ATM theft.

Some of those sets would be cool if you have that same profession.  Gotta have some silly nic-nac for the desk.

so like, uh, trying to ban toy guns is dumb. i mean.. like, purposefully keeping your children ignorant of reality to the point where certain symbols aren't even registered in their youth as existing is... beyond counter productive, and instead counts towards brainwashing. it's cool though.

really though, are they gonna say the usa dropped a giant hovering man eating potato on hiroshima? this shiat is farking insane.

but feel free to not let your kids know that bacon is pork is pig, you dumb farks. YAY REALITY, totally unnecessary in considering just or real actions.. lol, a bank robber playset is totally inappropriate  fark you people are stupid.

anyway, robbing a bank is pointless, you should just be a bank and rob the people! % over time is harder to notice after all. in comparison to gun in the face at once.

because you are all dumbfaces. your faces... they are dumb.

I don't really know why I would; no one here will even take a fifty. Most of the shops have signs saying they don't keep enough change on-hand for 50s and 100s. I've even had trouble with 20s, sometimes. When I wind up with a fifty, I need to specifically cash it at my bank as if it were a check or something.

I think it's from the prevalence of ATMs nowadays. Everyone who wants to spend cash only gets 20s, instead of an even mix of change, as in the old days. So the shops spend all their change on hand making change for these 20s, and soon have nothing left in the till but 20s. 50s would make this problem worse, but the 10s are a good idea.
