Not saying it makes me smarter. I was already smart as shiat before. The accident farked up my head, and I'd already had a history of siezures prior. Weed allows me to focus/not spiral anxiety out of control that a truck m ay hit us walking to work, as well as focus properly and work back at the level I was prior.

Different strains exist to target specific ailments, and not to just achieve a high. The treatment for ADHD is to ply the brain with stimulation. Its not unreasonable to assume certain individuals would benefit from a dose of thc to relieve anxiety thusly increasing that persons ability to focus and function at a normal rate.

But the could legitimately compare smokers of cigarettes with smokers of cigarettes and marijuana. If the latter group has better health, that might suggest that marijuana produces some beneficial effects that counters the negative effects of nicotine, or the combination of nicotine and THC is not as bad a nicotine itself.

I do know some people who smoke weed but not cigarettes. Not many. (Well, I don't know many people who smoke weed, nor many people who smoke in general.)

The only problem with this approach is that MJ opens up the lungs and lets bad chemicals affect your lung to a greater degree which can affect results in a negative way without MJ having negative effects.

I don't get high, but I am very much an advocate of medical marijuana. It saved my cat's life when he was diagnosed with early-stage small-cell lymphoma of the stomach lining. He was at death's door, and we tried every medication on the veterinary list, plus a few human meds to reduce his nausea and stimulate his appetite - nothing worked, not even the latest, greatest human drug which cost me $50 a tablet. As a last stab before euthanasia, I suggested trying pot. The vet shrugged and said we had nothing to lose. I gave it to him, and he immediately stopped showing symptoms of nausea. Within two weeks, we were able to take out his e-tube, as he was eating on his own and gaining weight. We were then able to put him on chemo to treat the lymphoma. He's alive now, nearly 4 years later, all thanks to marijuana.

There are plenty of cheaper options.  I've heard many people say the volcano is worth it if you have the money to spend, but that doesn't mean there aren't cheaper options that also kick ass.  I bought mine for $150 4 years ago and I still use it pretty much exclusively, when I have any herb.  Before I bought mine I did some reading on the forums over at grasscity.com.  As with any internet forum you have to take what you read with a grain of salt, but there are a lot of very knowledgeable people there, and I've never regretted the purchase.

Now some people claim that using a vaporizer produces a different high.  I personally never noticed a difference, but everyone is different.

I've had some success cleaning mine with pipe cleaners and rubbing alcohol, but it's a real pain in the ass.  Replacement hoses are pretty damn cheap, so I just buy a replacement every few months or so.  The glass parts are easier to clean than most pipes, and if they get happen to get broken by a clumsy roommate or a drunken girlfriend they aren't terribly expensive to replace.

As someone else stated the Volcano utilizies bags that attach to the vaporizer via a connector and once the bag is filledd you attacg a mouth piece which has a valve which ones when pressed down on the lips and closes when released. Cleaning is very important with any smoking device rubbing alcohol and salt work wonders for glass. I've never owned a Volcano myself but soaking in alcohol would more then like clean the adapter you'd have to look into how it is constructed as alcohol might cause rust. Boiling water also works well with removing build up it just takes long then alcohol. Don't even clean peice with anything other then hot water or alcohol and salt (it act as an abbrasive to dislodge buildup).

It should also be noted if you are looking inot getting a volcano, the bags are cheap to replace too, they are just plastic turkey oven bags from the super market that clip to the valve/hand piece. They are very well built I will give them that, but I still prefer my glass.

As for portable vapes, the only one I have every liked enough to buy was the Magic Launch Box. and it only set me back about $110, came with a charger and a set of battries that lasted about 3 months of heavy use before I needed new ones. It was a bit tricky to learn how to use though, since the temp is controled by air flow.
