Mrtraveler01: BraveNewCheneyWorld: Christopher Dorner, a pro gun control, piers morgan/obama fan

Is there a citation for this or are you just pulling stuff out of your ass?

It's in Christopher Dorner's "manifesto".  Maybe you should do a shred of research before acting like a jack ass.

It was in his manifesto.  Read the the unedited version, not the heavily-edited one the MSM published.

The sad thing is I can't tell if you were serious with that post or not.

Sixty rounds and probably 2.shiats

That was meant to be "2.shiats", but I like the above version better.

So I read the manifesto and I do see where he does support gun control and likes Piers Morgan.

He also listens to KFI (right-wing talk radio) and actually thinks Tim Tebow was good and Mark Sanchez is a rapist.

So what was the point in all of this again?

Oh yeah, you got to make your cute little political point. Now that you have, we can move on to the actual topic at hand.-

I think one of the biggest difference with the USA and the rest of the Western world isn't the religiosity or the guns or political circus or the lack of social safety nets, but the nature of the police.

No-one in the UK or France or Australia or Germany or Canada or New Zealand would think twice about going up to a policeman and asking for directions or just a chat. The police in the US just seem to be wired and scary and angry.

Not that it matters, but those things are, in fact, in his manifesto, more or less.

If you had a well regulated AWB, this would not happen. The time is now to reinstitute a ban that will save lives. Why does any sportsman need a 30 round magazine for hunting? Why does anyone need a suppressor? Why does anyone need a AR15 rifle? This is the same small arms weapons system utilized in eradicating Al Qaeda, Taliban, and every enemy combatant since the Vietnam war. Don't give me that crap that its not a select fire or full auto rifle like the DoD uses.
neighbor marries. Hypocritical pieces of shiat.

...
On the same day, give Piers Morgan an indefinite resident alien and Visa card. Mr. Morgan, the problem that many American gun owners have with you and your continuous discussion of gun control is that you are not an American citizen and have an accent that is distinct and clarifies that you are a foreigner. I want you to know that I agree with you 100% on enacting stricter firearm laws but you must understand that your critics will always have in the back of their mind that you are native to a country that we won our sovereignty from while using firearms as a last resort in defense and you come from a country that has no legal private ownership of firearms. That is disheartening to American gun owners and rightfully so.

pete1729: Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this situation precisely what is meant by 'a Second Amendment solution'?

You mean that the two women didn't shoot back and kill a few cops, because most gun owners go to the range several times a month and are probably better shots than most cops?

If he had been anti-gun control it would have been on the cover of every paper, the leading headline of every news report, and the first thing out of the gun control posters mouths on websites like this.  You damn well know it and you'd be saying the NRA gave the means for this "gun terrorist" to perform his acts and the NRA, along with its members, should be rounded up.  Not as much fun when the shoe's on the other foot is it?

The first, practical change we can make to stop corruption is to make police officers and prosecutors personally liable for acts that are grossly negligent or worse.

Not in California. If you are doing the speed limit and it's raining, you can be ticketed for driving that fast in "unsafe conditions". You can also be ticketed for "creating unsafe driving conditions" if you're going below the speed limit. You can fight it, of course, but if the cop shows up in traffic court, you'll probably lose, citizen. Whether or not you get stopped if you are not doing anything wrong is sometimes merely a question of "how bored is the cop?".

Bontesla: EdNortonsTwin: He's also a fanboy of George H Bush, and Joe Scarborough according to his manifesto.  Not so sure his politics have all that much to do with his Captain Ahab persona.

I feel like his political affiliation is probably the least relevant part of the story.

I agree, but that doesn't stop a few nutjobs from trying to make this a political thing and get all whiny when they get called out on their BS.

Now to the topic at hand...what kind of truck are they getting?

Mrtraveler01: BraveNewCheneyWorld: LordJiro: BraveNewCheneyWorld: Mrtraveler01: BraveNewCheneyWorld: Christopher Dorner, a pro gun control, piers morgan/obama fan

Is there a citation for this or are you just pulling stuff out of your ass?

It's in Christopher Dorner's "manifesto".  Maybe you should do a shred of research before acting like a jack ass.

You mean the one that said he wanted Huntsman, and didn't vote for Obama? That manifesto?

FTFManifesto
Mr. President, I haven't agreed with all of your decisions but of course I haven't agreed with all of your predecessors decisions. I think you've done a hell of a job with what you have been dealt and how you have managed it. I shed a tear the night you were initially elected President in 2008. I never thought that day would occur. A black man elected president in the U.S. in my lifetime. I cracked a smiled when you were re-elected in 2012 because I really didn't think you were going to pull that one off.

Funny you left out this part:

Before you start with your argument that you believe I would vote for Obama because he has the same skin color as me,fark you. I didn't vote in this last election as my choice of candidate, John Huntsman, didn't win the primary candidacy for his party.

That's even less of the full version, because it's redacted like a CIA top secret document. LA Times can't print the whole thing because the attorneys got involved and told the newspapers they weren't allowed to print the whole thing.

I'll remember you said that next time we have a shooting, then you try to paint the NRA and gun owners as somehow complicit in their actions.

The kind that comes with liability waiver? No personal responsibility from the LAPD.

Do you also find the entire story kind of odd?

Mrtraveler01: beta_plus: Mrtraveler01: Fail in Human Form: Mrtraveler01: So I read the manifesto and I do see where he does support gun control and likes Piers Morgan.

It must've taken a lot of work to construct that strawman huh?

Everything you disagree with is a strawman.  Maybe you should try using things like facts to back up your arguments for a change instead of erroneously accusing your opponents of logical fallacies when they school you.

/of course, facts have a conservative bias

There were facts in that emotion laden tripe he posted?

That's such a sad response.  Intentional obtuseness is so 2007.
