Man, I missed Italy tossing the Frogs last week! Must have been a hell of a game!

Whose bright idea was it to let Scotland and Italy both wear strips that are mostly an identical shade of blue? It can be hard enough to tell what's going on in rucks at the best of times

Massive fail on Scotlands part with the strip. It looks good but with the Italians and French both playing in light blue you can have trouble picking out the players.

This is a real wooden spoon fight. If Scotland loose this then without a miricle they will be at the bottom of the table after the final rounds. This is a real slugging match of a game. If you want pretty then next up will be the Welsh loosing to the French.

FWIW, I'd like to see France get popped again.

BBC America starts rugby coverage in a couple of minutes. Then, later today, NBC has the 7s from Vegas. w00t!

Did they heir the field techs from the redskins for this game? The field will be all torn up before the end of this.

Wow, the pitch is horrible at the Stade. What did they do, just roll out some sod on top of dirt?

Holy crap! The French side is going to go 0-2!

Damn that's a relief. After 8 losses in a row, I really didn't see Wales getting a result today, but I'm very happy to be surprised. I must now get very drunk to celebrate. That makes tomorrow's game really interesting - England win and you'd have to favour them for the title, but if Ireland take it, it really is wide open.

As for France though, where do they go from here? Losing to Italy, and then going down at home without ever looking like getting a try - that's gotta sting.

Good lord the BBC commentators are making this sound like one of the greatest wins Wales have ever had. This was a poor French side that Wales should of beaten if they wanted to be seen as chamionship challengers

It is. Stade de France doesn't have any undersoil heating so it is basically playing on a frozen pitch. Thank god French Rugby will be moving out of Stade de France and building this soon.

Ireland all over England at the moment but are making such basic errors that would look bad for under 15 club games.

I gave up trying to find a free one. I thoroughly enjoyed the england/scotland game last week on BBCA. Unfortunately there isn't anything on comcast even remotely showing this. Every website wanted to either charge 20 bucks or have me install something.

Just watched Canada kill Scotland in Rugby Sevens 3rd place game in Las Vegas. Pretty good crowd for that match and the NZ/Fiji final. NBC seems to be trying to hype up the sport on their main network.

Oops. Canada's game was actually for 5th place. Samoa/Fiji is for 3rd place and a hilarious moment happened during the match. The game ball (between SA/NZ) for the final was getting parachuted in. The Samoa/Fiji game went into OT but no one told the parachutist. He dropped into the field during the middle of OT.

Saw that on the tube. It was funny with NBC showing the sidelines all looking and pointing at the sky.

As a Scotland fan I've got to say that I hate that new alternate strip. We really don't need to plaster our players in our flag a la USA. The home team should ALWAYS wear their traditional strip with the away team changing if required/desired. Scotland move to a new kit sponsor later this year. I sincerely hope they revert back to navy blue jerseys, white shorts, navy blue socks.
