(Denver Channel)   Remember that story about the kid suspended for throwing an imaginary grenade in the schoolyard? Turns out it may be a made up story by the mother who has done this before   (thedenverchannel.com) divider line 60

PsyOps, oh sh*t! This imaginary police action is steadily marching toward DEFCON 1. I suggest we send in a Jimmy Carter impersonator to diffuse the tensions in the region! Next thing you know there'll be thermfauxnuclear bombs dropping and we we don't have enough placebassium-iodide tablets to treat the entire population. We'd have to pick and choose who gets the remaining tablets as Farkers and West Coast pretards bought them all up when Fukushima aired its grievances.

Also: Shouldn't these kids be under UN supervision? Why the fark is this obviously psychotic firebug in charge of kids? Do we want her fashioning them into newer, smaller, better versions of herself?

RDixon: An elementary school playground that has loose rocks on it needs correcting.

Padded rooms and sedatives for all 18-and-unders, then?

opiumpoopy: GreenAdder: So if you imagine an imaginary grenade, does it become real?

No, you get a negative grenade.

Do they teach nothing in math class these days?

A negative grenade, you say? That must mean the grenade is made of antimatter. We shouldn't let children play with such dangerous things.

FTFA: "He was playing that he was the hero and he was throwing an imaginary grenade into an imaginary box that had evil stuff inside," the mother told 7NEWS reporter Lindsey Sablan.

I had her pegged as a liar the second I read this.  What parent talks like this?  It sounds like she's reading a story off the back of a cereal box, like they aren't even her words.

Bonanza Jellybean: Nice to know that somebody can plead guildty to a half-dozen felonies in a decade, including child abuse and child endangerment, and be out of jail AND keep her kids.

Sh's white, so it's cool. Apparently.

oukewldave: kd8our: Why is this woman even allowed to have her kids?  Folks like her need children and pets removed from their care ASAP.  I would ask no questions if folks like her were sent to labor camps.

Because the mother always gets to keep her kids except for very, very extreme cases.  If you know a woman who has had her kids taken from her, run far far away.

Actually, it often seems to come down to drug abuse, with some exceptions either way. Simple raging alcoholism is rarely enough (please, ask me how I know this one), but it seems to be a common thread that if a judge gets the idea that mom's a junkie, even just a stoner, that's it, lose your kids forever with zero visitation rights even if you clean up and become successful. Family court judges and their raging biases suck for everyone, not just men.

Enigmamf: Seems a simple mix-up. Can't a rock be an imaginary grenade?

The kid was throwing rocks and pretending they were grenades. Mom simply told half the story, which seems to be a pattern: "The dog saved us from a fire that I started."

More evidence that fat chicks should not be trusted.

foxyshadis: Family court judges and their raging biases suck for everyone, not just men.

So...judges are biased against woman in one tiny case; drug addiction, and against men in every single other one, but it sucks equally for both, right?
