Jackpot777: I honestly think Conservatives have no gaydar. Zero. They think Marcus Bachmann is as straight as an arrow, so there's that.

Their gaydar is so non-existent, many of them are walking around, living a life that's a cross of The Adventures of Priscilla  Queen Of The Desert and The Sixth Sense. We see queer people, but many of them don't even know they're gay.

sno man: Because People in power are Stupid: I find that picture quite appropriate. That same sex couple is falling into gender role stereotypes because that makes sense.

Actually you might be on to something there...  Why not just both be an a dress (for innies), or both in a suit (for outies) or whatever. Why go to the trouble of imposing gender roles where they don't actually apply?  If not for some measure toward conformity.

Here's an idea: go find some lesbians who are willing to talk about what it is to them to be a lesbian and ask them. Just don't be condescending.  You'll probably have a better understanding of their perspective of attraction then.  Then you don't have to make the same boring comments that everyone  makes when topics like this emerge. I'm not a part of the gay community, but I'm friends with quite a few that are..so when I see a phenomenon I don't understand, I ask about it and they explain it to me.

what and get some answer that is a lie and only designed to justify their abnormal desires.A woman who says she is a lesbian but only is attracted to butch type women has issues and really is a woman who wants a man but has been told and came to believe she is a lesbian.

I see. So your issue is that you don't believe that people can be naturally lesbian, or that all lesbians must be girly girls, attracted to other girly girls. This is in spite of the fact that many men are attracted to women who are not girly at all. Does that make them secretly gay? Or is it possible at all that people are attracted to other people for reasons aside from the way they look and that people generally dress however they feel the most comfortable (business suits aside)?

Please don't feed it.

beta_plus: Assuming that you are not gay (NTTAWWT), yeah, actually you do.

Happiness is a reward given to you by your genetics for doing things that would have furthered your survival and you genes survival for millions of years.  If you deny your hunter-gatherer roots, you are doomed to be unhappy.

Now, does that mean that a woman should be barefoot and pregnant cooking in the kitchen?  No.  But she and her husband had better do the basic things that keep each other happy on an instinctual level when possible.  If you're a guy, be the manly man that makes your wife happy.  Keep in mind that one of the main things that keeps her happy is you standing up to the challenges she will instinctually give you to test that you are manly.  This used to be called flirting.

Ladies, be feminine around the man you care about.  Make him feel welcomed and desired.  Obviously, test him a bit but have the good sense to do it at the right times.  Kind of like how he shouldn't demand sex from you at the wrong times.  Basically, be sweet and kind if he has proven to be worthy of it.  Don't be a biatch unless it is truly necessary.

You are so so right. One of the biggest challenges I have to face from the Mrs. is when she gets her dom streak up, straps me down to the bed, puts the choker around my neck and makes me beg her to be gentle while plowing my ass with the *big* dildo. And I'm not even kidding dumbass. What is more "manly" than two men farking? That's about as goddamn manly as it gets. And when playtime gets a little rough, I farking man up, take it, and we both cum and fark til it hurts.

/Enjoy the missionary postion.

And NOW you're falling DEEPER into gender roles by agreeing that a lesbian wedding should involve two women in a dress.

It's the traditional wedding's roles (of a man and a woman) I'm questioning why they feel a need to emulate, but whatever.

Well, at least you are dedicated to your ignorance, stupidity and horribly trite worldview. It's cute you think gender roles were, are or will be as static as some Leave it to Beaver episode you recall from your youth. People have always, and always will, do freaky fun shiat that would blow your little boxed in pent up mind.

I mean, I can't even begin to explain to you how stupid you sound when you present some non-fluid binary representation of sexuality and actually think you are making any kind of sense to anyone who isn't irretrievably scared of sex.

There's that arrogant BS again!  There it is!  How adorable.

A) Why do you "question" what strangers want to wear on their wedding day?
B) Why do you feel they are accountable to you?
C) Why do you believe they "feel the need" to emulate anything at all? Why is it impossible for you to fathom that woman likes suits and the other likes dresses?

Slow down sunshine,  No one is accountable to me but me.  I know many lesbians and even more gay guys, and none of either I know have any interest in playing to "traditional" roles in any part of their lives. Hell my wife and I bend many traditional roles... I get that some might WANT to, I just don't get why.

Unlike the woman in this pic, who you question.
Now I'm really confused. What should these women be wearing, so as not to conform to "traditional" roles?  How can they gain your approval?
