Well, both wearing a dress just because they're women is what's actually conforming ro gender roles. I'm guessing the woman in the suit is not the type of woman who's ever been comfortable in a dress. Some of us aren't. I'm not a lesbian, but I'd get married in jeans and a t-shirt if my family would let me get away with it.

She essentially demands universal compliance. Most boys do x, so all boys should do x. Heaven forbid a boy grows up to like other boys; if he does, then he very much must not go with the flow.
