Fano: SuperT: If only he lived in a country where he could get medical attention regardless of ability to pay.

The Nation of Big Rock Candy Mountain?

There are many nations which offer medical care to ALL citizens, regardless of their income. I live in one of them. Some people call it "Oz".

Good thing this guy was treated in the land of OZ.

After pointing out that he was in fact treated in the US, I'm curious how good Australian Sheep Dogs and whatever sort of helper dogs they have in Canada are. Are they part of the national health system?

Australian Shepherds are an American breed.

So what, the only help you have out in the Outback is bunyips to inform people you're ill? Glad this homeless guy had a solid american mutt to deliver the news, where he got help. The posts I've received indicate he would have died a paupers death, unable to receive free medical care.

For whatever reason, even the dumbest dog will figure out what needs to be done in an emergency. As for the other 99.9% of the time? Yeah, good luck with that.

Once our sweet-tempered border collie was sleeping under my husband's chair, when our psycho violent kitten decided to bite her hard on the ear. She woke / simultaneously chomped on the first thing she came into contact with, which happened to be my husband's leg.    =O.O=  No blood or anything, but emergency? Yeah, she thought so. She instantly rendered herself invisible, and remained so for almost an hour. Poor critter. She was a smartie though.

spawn73: doglover: Dogs are like Marines. They never leave a man behind.

Cats are more like Al Qaeda. They'll kill as soon as they think they can get away with it.

Dog owners are people will low confidence that needs an animal to validate them constantly.

Cat owners are people with such high confidence they don't need companionship.

So they're just like humans.

Actually, the dog in the article is an Australian Cattle Dog cross. So not only are we relying on them here in Australia, apparently, you are there in the US, too. You're welcome.

Dog owners are people who love to go outside all the time so their animal can piss and shiat on the ground.

Cat owners are people too lazy for that so they let their cat piss and shiat in a box inside.

Pet owners like having extra piss and shiat around along with fur on everything.

Neither cats, nor for that matter Al Qaeda, have ever been noted for a belief that "getting away with it" is a particularly important consideration.

Though, I admit, cats usually don't  release videos of their atrocities, they just leave them on the doorstep.

However it is true that both dogs and Marines will hump anything.

Meanwhile... your dumbass cat is patiently waiting for you to die so it can eat your eyeballs in the first 3 hours after. (Grossly proven.)
