And ahhhh yes, the 95% of rapists go free number.  You get this number by combining differently-constructed studies, and by assuming that all accusations are true and are rape, unless definitively proved otherwise by both physical evidence and full recanting.  You must take the biggest numbers from self-selecting polls(only self-identified victims are likely to respond), and then re-define many of the instances of confusion or possible assault as "rape" even if the "victim" said it wasn't rape, then ignore all of the known causes of false accusations (divorce court is a biggie, bogus recovered memory therapy, attention seeking behavior, revenge, to reduce one's own consequences of behavior), then ignore all of the mis-identifications in random stranger assaults(least likely form of rape, but often hard to find the guy until much later).  You have now created much more rape on paper than is ever actually reported to anyone, refuse to admit any possible false accusations unless fully proven (never required for calling it "rape", quite the opposite), and compare the numbers from widely differing questions and methodologies.

Violent stranger rape is the only category where men are a large majority of the perps.  And it is BY FAR the least common type of rape.  Unfortunately, most violent rapists will have more than one victim before being caught, thus there are many less violent rapists than cases of violent rape.  For good measure, did you know that somewhere around 65% of violent rapists of this type, were violently abused or sexually abused by their mothers or stepmothers when they were kids?  Of course, it's no excuse at all for continuing the cycle, but just like with most violence and sexual abuse, it is learned young, and often taught by the opposite sex, and rarely "just happens because men are violent".   Funny, these are the same reasons why we don't punish most women too harshly for violent crimes.  Funny that, in such a supposedly male-dominated, woman-hating society.

And yes, living in close proximity to sf, I am quite familar with sex-positivity. I know a lot of feminists and sex positive types, and their feelings towards prostitution run the gamut, but many believe if it's a career entered into by choice, that prostitution is acceptable, and should be legal and regulated to keep the hookers safe.

Never met a feminist that doesn't believe "women have agency". But you don't seem the type to be willing to listen to others' rational arguments. You appear to have made up your mind and chosen who is your enemy, which is fine. No worries, I don't take anything on fark too seriously.
