I must be getting old....I did not appreciate that at all. Pay or GTFO!

It would've been better if the scene was reminiscent of Indiana Jones on the German blimp.

Normally, I dislike YouTube videos posted through some third-party site, but in this case, the site had a decent explanation of what was going on, and actually added value to the post.

Also, at least in my case, I didn't have to enable any extra scripts to get the video to run.

This vid shows a big difference in national attitudes. I presume it happened in Poland and not a single passenger turned him in to the conductors in their role of agents of the government run train.

Had this happened in the US (or Germany) there would probably been some whiny old-fart true American conservatives denouncing him from the get-go.

Why do you consider theft to be OK?  If it was you he stole from would that be cool?

I guess there's some sort of reward for hitting full-derp fastest.

I just pretended it was WWII Poland and he was a Jew hiding from the Nazis. Otherwise, yeah, pay your fare.

A conservative would have applauded his 'creativity' in avoiding having to pay SOSHULIST TRAINZ TAX.  Government run or not, a train costs money to operate. All those people who 'helped' that kid were subsidizing that douchbag's free ride.  I'm not a conservative, and I would have ratted him out and giggled like a school girl the whole time.

I don't think you understand how politics work or what conservatives believe in.

It was a prank.  The train is going where it's going with or without him.  One freeloading passenger is insignificant.  It would be impossible to do on a large scale.

I kept waiting for the conductors to act as if nothing were wrong, but then calmly press a button that momentarily flips the luggage rack 90 degrees, dumps the contents out the side of the train, then returns the rack to normal position.

/no ticket!

So three Berkeley professors and three Stanford professors are travelling on a train to a conference together..
They strike up a conversation on the trip down and the number of tickets they have comes up. the Berkeley professors have three tickets, one for each man. However, the Stanford professors brag that they only need one ticket but won't say why. Later on when they see that the conductor is on his way to check tickets they all file into the bathroom together and when the conductor knocks on the bathroom door, they just stick out the one arm, and he takes their ticket, accomplishing their ruse.
On the return trip these 6 professors where on the same train again. Again tickets comes up and again the Stanford professors smugly announce they have one ticket again. To which the Berkeley professors claim they are going to get away with no ticket, but they won't tell how. Later as the conductor is on his way the Stanford professors all file into a bathroom again. This time however the Berkeley professors file into an opposing bathroom. After a minute they knock on the bathroom door of the Stanford profs and ask "Ticket please" to which the Stanford professors offer their ticket and the Berkeley professors accomplish their ruse.

\Somehow I remember this being funnier when it was told in class =(

It's a free ride when you've already paid.
